One of the first CDs I bought was Spice, by the Spice Girls. Real talk.
I can hide behind that the first album I ever bought was The Black Album and The Real Thing was in the first 5, but I also had this. F*ck anyone who wants to make fun. Pour Some Sugar On Me was the f*cking jam, and I loved it even years after it came out.
I thought we were only derailing this thread with what we listened to in High School.
These f*ckers were 8 when we were in high school, Fuzz.
Pour Some Sugar On Me and Van Halen's Panama were the jams on the jukebox in the game room at my local public swimming pool when I was 8. I can still smell coconut sun tan oil when I hear them today.
Also loved that Miami Vice and Beverly Hills Cop shit back then
Maybe we need a High School shameful listening thread. I'm sure we've all got some doozies.
I learned very early that high school would be difficult if I didn't quickly adapt some sort of Littlefinger persona. So I persuaded a key member of the football team, an academic geek, and a stoner that I had inside information on where the hot new punk bands would be playing all ages shows. I didn't, but I had my mom call around until she found out where a Government Issue show was that was only $8. I bought tickets for 10 people and it was like this bizarre Breakfast Club. The Slickee Boys were there and it turned out that one of the members was a cousin of one of the guys I invited and we had a crazy night. My mom picked us up and drove us all home. Later found out she stayed in her car outside the club the whole time just in case. I never had any trouble in high school and was this weird nerd music savant that had friends in all the cliques after that. All because of music. And my mom. I love telling that story.

What he is trying to say here is that he never had bad taste in music. You're already TIN. You can dial it back a notch, sir.
