I'm gonna vote for Alunageorge, but I'm on my phone and can't post the cover. It would have been an easier decision if the "this is how we do it" cover wasn't on there f'cking up an otherwise great album, but I'll let it slide because it's technically a bonus track.
Was hard to pick between F*ck Buttons and Alunageorge for July, but this album is implanted in my head:
My vote as well.
I wasn't too in to fuck buttons, is there something i am missing? Like it was good but to me not amazing. And i enjoyed alunageorge more. Could someone educate me on fuck buttons and their sound please?
Really? I dont think I made it through three songs.
I think i probably wouldn't have made it through all of Fuck Buttons, had it not been for this board raving about it. I feel i am either a music nub or something.
Man nothing really blew me away this month. I liked Body Music and F*ck Buttons, and I may like them more by the end of the year, but I'll vote for the one I kept going back to:
So, August, so far I'm loading up on Pond - Hobo Rocket, Blondes - Swisher, The Civil Wars, Moderate -II, medicine - To the Happy Few. Anything else yet, I'll get around to The Polyphonic Spree eventually I'm sure.
I just went back to see where I had Tricky and Baths in May and looked again at that month's releases. I could have picked easily 10 or 12 that were better from May than a single release from this month. That was a crazy month.

Yeah. May was just bananas. When ever there is lull time and nothing promising on the horizon as far as new releases I go back to the ones from the year that I never got a chance to listen to when they first released. I have just been going back to May this whole week. Such a great month.
And not that it matters now, but since I wasn't around to vote for May (my own fault, My vote for RAM would've been the tie-breaker. Just noticed that last night. Obviously, Kanye for June.
