I'll be honest, I've never actually given Killer Mike a listen until now. Just watched the Reagan video and was very impressed. Depending who he's scheduled against, there's a good chance I'll end up at the show.
I'll be there for sure. Interested in seeing what El-P and him do together at Forecastle as well.
I'm hoping for an EL-P add. They played the same venue during Moogfest and guested with each other. I'm curious to see what happens with Forecastle. They were both announced at P4K and not billed that way. Interesting, to say the least.

He's a blast. He keeps the crowd going and the party just never stops.
How is he live? I was excited when I heard he was playing roo this year, but I am concerned the live show may not be too good since I haven't heard too much as of now.

I saw Killer Mike last night. It was a fun show. I swear he seems like the nicest dude ever when he gets to talking between songs. He said he has a collaboration album with El-P halfway finished and will complete it after the Big Boi tour.

Maybe that is why they are billed that way for Forecastle. Try out some new tunes on the festival.
My brother and I loved seeing Killer Mike at Moogfest. My brother is a big hip hop fan more then anything and he was happy to see Killer Mike is going to be at bonnaroo. Killer Mike on Thursday will be a great way to start off the weekend.

I was under the impression it was another in the same vein as R.A.P. Music, where it's just a new Killer Mike record with El-P handling production. A collaborative album would be great though.

That might be it. Seems like what he said is he was half way finished on an album together with El-P, so that could just mean with production done by El-P.

From reading El-P's tumblr and tweets it seems the next album is a true collab between Mike and El-P. After R.A.P. and C4C came out I read interviews with El where he talked about producing for someone else and producing for yourself so yea, it seems like they're going in together on this.
There are some shots of them in the studio on that tumblr. Also shots of El-P eating shrooms. el-p.tumblr.com/page/3

I want a Killer Mike/El-P set so bad. I missed the Wild Things tour and have been upset about it ever since.
I saw Mike on Friday and it was absolutelyfuckingamazing. Seriously, that show had such an insane energy no words I write will do it justice. Let's just say he opened the show by walking out on stage with a giant ghetto blaster over his head and then promptly smashed it on the ground directly in front of me. And it only got better from there.
Other highlights include doing Reagan totally a cappella, doing his verse from The Whole World and generally just being incredible. It's all way too much to copy down here but if you are thinking of going to see him you absolutely should. Definitely one of the best rap shows I've ever seen.
And he said his shows with Big Boi are going to be completely different from his solo shows so you should go see one of those as well.
