Maiden America is finally coming to town. I can probably get a lot of us into the soundcheck and get a meet and greet, who all is going to try and make it?

Yeah, I think soundcheck we will not need them but we will for the show. We should all get them together though.

I would like that. How many of us are there and who is getting them? I can paypal my money, or bring cash to Bonnaroo, or whatever. There is an arena presale tomorrow but I don't have the password.

Soooo tempting. A thursday night is gonna be hard to make it up there in september, especially because I'll be solo... none of my friends could even name a Maiden song.

It doesn't matter. Talk them into it. They will have a blast. I promise you this. Get there early for heavy metal parking lot beer drinking too.

It is on a Thursday so I will more than likely drink it up at Yazoo then walk over.
Where the fuck do all of these people park? Maybe there's not one big lot, but there are lots...multiple heavy metal parking lots. Same difference just nowhere near as cool.

Yeah there are lots of different little ones and the cops get pissy if you are drinking openly. Come to Yazoo with us, trust me you will have a blast and meet all the scumfucks you want.
fine. It's a 6.5 hour drive for us and I'll probably be lucky if I can get my friends wrangled up and on the road by 9am so that'd put us there around 4ish.
Good luck with getting good tickets tomorrow morning, folks.
Really hoping this doesn't sell out before I get paid. Saw Iron Maiden and Testament back in the '90s and both were great. I've never seen Anthrax or Megadeth so I'm looking forward to that.
We only get Megadeth opening. San Bernardino is the only show with all those other bands. They always do something special for Cali shows. They always get unique show specific t-shirt too.

Dangit... Stupid "bands in town" app getting me all excited. I mean I'm still going if tickets are left when I have money, but Megadeth was the least of the three opening acts for me. Glad to see them since I never have, but they're a shadow of themselves with no Friedman or DeGrasso and Dave taking a big drink of the Ted Nugent crazy juice. From what I've seen on Youtube, Testament looks to still be in top form and Anthrax and Joey B. seem to be at least making a good show of playing nice. Would have been nice to see either of them.

Hey guys what's up? I saw the post on Iron Maiden and had to check it out. I am in Kingsport TN and make business trips to Nashville all the time so if you are coming from afar to Nashville I can give you a little heads up for what to expect. BTW it was this post that led me to checking Maiden's tour dates out once again and just in time. So thank you for posting about the Nashville show because I would have missed it for sure. As it is, YES! I secured pit tickets for Maiden! At least I hope there pit because there called "main floor seating GA" and cost $112.xx The last time I saw em was in 1985, The World Slavery Tour that came to Johnson City TN. I got my tickets via ticketmaster along with parking passes for the 4th and Commerce parking lot about a block away from Bridgestone Arena. The parking was $13.75 I think through ticketmaster and there is not many left. Parking in Nashville is a nightmare especially during large events like this one, but there are parking lots all around the area though they will cost you about 11 to 12 bucks, so plan for that at least incase you don't get lucky enough to find what little free parking there is. Bring a disposable poncho in case it rains..lol. On Expedia you can find hotel rooms for as little as 39 bucks only a few miles from the arena this far in advanced. Now heres the cool part in case some of you looked over it. Iron Maiden is on Thursday Sept 5th, Muse is on Friday Sept 6th at the same place! So ya I got pit and parking for Friday as well. Some sections for both of these shows have already sold out! So don't wait to long if you want to go. Up The Irons!

Just so everyone knows the best parking is the lot at the library it is only 4 dollars for in after 5 and out before 5, however they only take cash.
