I didn't even know McCoy had a chance of being traded and now I feel stupid for not seeing it. What about Murray/Peterson? Where do you guys think they land?
Demarco Murray going to the Broncos would be amazing

Murray has said he would stay in Dallas if they come close to other teams' offers. AP has said he will restructure his contract to make a trade happen. Supposedly the teams he wants to play for include Dallas, Arizona, Indy, San Diego, and Tampa Bay.
The Eagles just got a steal. Shady is good but MLBs like Kiko are tough to find. And still on his rookie contract? My god. I think Philly makes a move to sign Demarco since it looks like AP will be heading to Texas.

As a Pitt fan and a Bills fan, I love this trade twice. RBs are certainly expendable, and I believe in Chip Kelly...but this was a little weird. No reason to get under the cap, I guess with cutting all the LBs he needed LBs, but people are making these Oregon/Eagles connections...
I love it for the Bills. A win now move for a team that needs to win, now. It's been too long, the curse of the frickin Music City Miracle/Fraud!
I don't know why any team would want to spend a large amount of money on a RB. Even Peterson or McCoy. It's a total waste of money. The Bills want Shady because they have no QB and are depending on him to generate most of their points. The Bills are going to be just like Rex Ryan's Jets teams. I feel sorry for them.
So this Alonso-McCoy trade has me intrigued. Somebody tell me what my opinion on it is supposed to be.
As a Giants fan I couldn't be happier about this deal. McCoy is one of the best running backs I've seen. Now the Eaglea have a tattered Sproles, an inconsistent Foles, and an unreliable Maclin. Chip Kelly's hubris will be his downfall.

One reason I don't watch the NFL as much is that the Titans suck. I was scrolling through Instagram seeing Cobb resigning with the Packer along with multiple big signings for other teams. Finally, it's the Titans turn. Who do they get locked down on a multi-year deal? The fucking punter. To be fair, he is good and he's probably going to continue to get a ton of work with the shit show going on in Nashville.

I dont see it playing out exactly like you think it will... the only thing holding back the eagles last year was consistency at the quaterback position, and that was with a piss poor defense getting bailed out by the special teams. I bet you the eagles get a qb in the draft early, and they are already bolstering their defense with the mccoy trade, they can easily get another running back in the mid rounds. This was a savvy move and this is coming from a ravens fan.

I actually really like what Jax is doing. I think Gus Bradley is a good coach, they play hard for him, they just had to add a lot of talent. If Bortles can play at all, they could be a sleeper this year.

A steal? A player coming off an ACL injury and not playing last year for a RB thats been in the top 3 of rushing the last couple years doesn't really constitute a "steal". Glad to see Shady out of the NFC East and not on the Cowboys schedule twice a year. If Murray signs back with the Cowboys he will immediately be the best running back in the NFC East and the Boys will then have the best QB in the division and the best WR, this offense could be scary next year (not to mention keeping the best O-line in the NFL intact). Now time to draft a D-lineman or DB.

What quarterback?
Also, you don't simply replace LeSean McCoy. The guy had the third most rushing yards last year in his sleep.

They just signed sanchez to a 3 year extension and reports are that the eagles are getting byron maxwell, sounds to me like they are bolstering the D and going ground and pound. They signed frank gore too, hes old but thats a better switch up between sproles than when shady was lead back. I never said shady wasnt good or still doesnt have anything in the tank, I havent forgotten he was running behind a beaten up O line for much of last season either, he will do well in buffalo. I just think chip kelly will run a system with the guys he has in mind, so for you to say that chip kellys system will do him in is not where problems will arise imo.

Looks like the Eagles are signing Frank Gore. He may not have the big play ability but also doesn't lead the league in attempts for negative or no gain like McCoy has the last two seasons.

Franks going to an even better run offensive line to boot, mix that with sproles in the backfield to give him a break. He could last another couple years which is crazy for a rb past 30

McCoy has the 3rd most rushing yards in the NFL since he was drafted in 2009. To pretend like a 32 year old Gore has anything on McCoy is comical. Maybe pass blocking.

I'm not saying Gore is better, just that he won't have as many drive killing attempts for loss of yards from trying to make something happen in the backfield. Kelly must want the offense to go in a new direction and maybe he has seen something in practice and through the course of last season to lead him to believe McCoy is on the decline. Anyway, I don't see their offense being nearly as potent this year as it was the last two unless they make some waves in free agency.
I don't see any scenario where he chooses Jacksonville over Dallas
No state income tax can be a big factor to those that have dollar signs in their eyes...
Texas has no state tax. Murray has said he would resign with Dallas if they come close to matching other teams' offers. Of course, Jax plucked Laurent Robinson from the Cowboys in free agency a few years ago, giving him a contract like he was a top wideout in the league. I doubt Dallas can match that kind of money. There is sure to be a contender out there willing to give Murray a big pay day, so I don't see him ending up wearing one of those horrible Jaguars uniforms this season.
Thanks for pointing that out. For whatever reason, thought TX was lower tax & FL was no tax. I've seen that cited as a reason for Miami trying to lure Suh away from Detroit lately as well.

I believe McCoy had the third most rushing yards in the NFL last year. The year before he had the most. I guess that's technically a decline...
Oh yeah, McCoy is 26 btw.
Again, can't be happier that he's out of the NFC East.

Good middle linebackers don't grow on trees. Kiko is only 24 and has plenty of time to recover and be an elite play maker, especially in the NFC East. And considering the Eagles also just signed Frank Gore, yeah, it's a fucking steal.
