No, that is Boss Hogg Richardson, 13th overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft and the Jets' prized haul in the Revis trade (and I'm not exaggerating or bullsh*tting you when I say this kid has the potential to be so good that he makes Jets fans forget all about Mevis.
I haven't seen many Jets games so I'm not too familiar with this kid? Who would you compare him to ?
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

People have used a young Warren Sapp, which I guess is as close as you're going to get. Boss is a little smallish (6'2" 305 pounds), but he's lightning quick, relentless and has a great football IQ to help him diagnose plays immediately. He sometimes gets washed out by huge OL double-teams, but his relentless style of play means he's always ending up near the ball, anyway.
When Revis was traded I was beside myself. Then I watched this kid play for the past 13 games and couldn't care less. He's that promising.
Keenan Allen would certainly be a worth Offensive ROTY, but if anyone is gonna challenge him for that crown it's this guy:
He hasn't scored as much as Allen has, but Gio has still been insanely productive in limited snaps. He has racked up over a thousand yards despite splitting time with BJGE and has been a real difference maker in that offense with his playmaking abilities. If Gio closes out the season big then I could see him making noise in the ROTY conversation.

I was watching Red Zone when they cut to the final hail mary play for the first half of that Seahawks-Giants game. The transitionary comment by the announcer was, "Let's see if Eli throws another interception." I don't think I've ever seen a QB's level of play fall so far so fast.

Ehh, I don't know why they quit running. This is a loss the rabid fanbase can finally place blame on Romo for. I've been critical of Garrett lacking confidence in his QB and electing to stick with a strict run based play calling strategy towards the end of a game. This time he gave it to the his QB and he threw two critical picks. Still no excuse for the D surrendering that lead they had at halftime.
Yeah, so the Saints fell off a cliff yesterday. That was a miserable game. If the Saints can beat Carolina, then they win the division regardless of Week 17. If they lose, then they have to beat Tampa Bay and Carolina would have to lose to Atlanta in Week 17 for the Saints to win the division. It's going to be like a playoff game. Winner basically gets the 2 seed. Awful, awful game.

A lot of teams fell off of a cliff this. Gonna go ahead and call last week parity week. A brutal reminder to alot of young guys on playoff contending teams.
And Dave Maynar , you pretty much nailed it haha, but it wasn't at that point in the game. I had hope for awhile, especially after last week. When we brought the game to within 5 points in 4 minutes, I was convinced we had woken up. But then on the ensuing drive, Minnesota gets put into a 3rd and 14 right away, and completes a pass to our former number 5 TE, where our newly inserted 3rd string safety was. Then, that was my face until about lunch time, today.

Haha. That's just the first gif I could find that came from the game. Also, that was a nice touchdown.
who told you before the season that that your qb wouldn't be capable of NFL-level play?
If you're referring to yourself, the answer would be "someone who never watched him play."
you expected him to do the same things he did in college, plus running the option, which he didn't really do in college. I told you he wouldn't be that good in the NFL.

You really like remembering things differently than how they happened, huh?
I never said Geno would be a good QB this year, I said he had potential. I also never said he would run the option often, I said the team would use his running ability to help open things up for him, which they did, it just stopped working as much in the middle of the season when Geno stopped running. I always said he was a passing QB who could run, not a running QB, and the fact that he's top-10 in QB yards and top-5 in QB TD's*** backs this up. You can keep trying to paint me as the idiot Jet homer fan, but I'm not.
My stances were pretty clear this year: everyone saying the Jets are the worst team in football and would be lucky to win 4 games was basing that off a caricature of the team and not the actual team, and Geno Smith is a pocket passer who can run, and the Jets would try to use that to their advantage.

*** Rushing stats, obvs.
I remember clearly you being very excited over him and me telling you he's not going to be as good as you expect/want him to be. that's all. you'll be picking in the top 12 right? you may have a shot at drafting Sammy Watkins and he can make him look good the way Austin and Bailey did.

This is what I'm talking about. I wasn't "very excited" that the Jets drafted him, I thought it was a good value pick since he was seen as the best QB in the draft and they didn't use either 1st round selection on him.
Watkins would be an ideal fit for the team, I wouldn't be against that at all. Right now the Jets are picking 13th.

I know Rex has been watching him a lot, since his son is at Clemson. I'd hate to have to pull for the Jets though, if they draft him.
