A Clemson fan busted up their rock. How can you support a fanbase like that? Also, like you said, sang.
I'm not entirely sure of the details but I think it was someone who got rejected by Clemson admissions and was taking out their revenge? That's what I've heard, at least.
I hope Sammy Watkins gets it back together and has a good year this year. Last year was extremely underwhelming.
he actually had a really good year considering he missed most of 4 games. 2 games he was suspended, LSU he was injured on the 1st play and there was another game that I believe he missed.

The couple of articles I read on it said that he didn't have any official affiliation with Clemson but had a sticker on his truck and some memorabilia in his home. My guess is that 18yo + booze = stupidity.

his family are season ticket holders, there were pics of the guy at games, along with the sticker on his truck. so apparently he was a fan, I have no idea what he was thinking when he did that.

Boston College. Now that I look at his stats, I suppose he did actually have a pretty decent season, considering all those games he missed. However, I feel like he didn't have any huge, game-changing type of effect that he did time and time again in the previous season. I think he has phenomenal talent, though, so I wish him the best for this season.

true, since they knew he was going to be out the first 2 games, Tajh and Nuk really got locked in together. Nuk became the #1 option and continued to be all season. Sammy still had a great year, he just wasn't the guy Tajh went to in the clutch. this year he will have to be. we have lots of other weapons at WR but Sammy is getting the load that Nuk had last year plus some.

Quick poll:
A co-worker of mine is obsessed with the idea that it will be big news if UT beats W. Kentucky in their second game because we will be beating Bobby Petrino. I say he is f*cking crazy. Thoughts?

hey, you take what you can get right now.
Yeah, a W is a W, but his thought is that this will be something that ESPN talks about as evidence that UT is "back".
Edit: In the previously mentioned USA Today, they give UT the W over W Kentucky even in the nightmare season scenario.
The 2013 college football season kicks off in 52 days.
The unofficial start of the season kicks off next week, when conferences around the country start to assemble for preseason media days, followed by the opening of preseason camps at the end of the month.
It's never too early to plan your weekly viewing guides and road trips. Here's a week-by-week guide to the best games during the 2013 regular season:
(All times are ET)
Week 1 (Sat., Aug. 31) Georgia at Clemson, 8 p.m. (ABC)
The Bulldogs and Tigers are both equipped to score a ton of points, but both defenses might be suspect early in the season, so it figures to be a high-scoring shootout in Week 1. The game features a great quarterback matchup: UGA's Aaron Murray versus Clemson's Tajh Boyd. The schools, which are separated by only 75 miles, haven't played since the Bulldogs' 30-0 victory at Death Valley in 2003.
Other games to watch: North Carolina at South Carolina (Thu., Aug. 29, 6 p.m.); Mississippi State at Oklahoma State (3:30 p.m.); Virginia Tech vs. Alabama (5:30 p.m.); LSU vs. TCU (9 p.m.); Boise State at Washington (10 p.m.)
Week 8 (Sat., Oct. 19) Florida State at Clemson, TBA
The winner once again figures to have the inside track at winning the ACC's Atlantic Division. Last season, the Seminoles and Tigers combined for 1,093 yards of offense in a wild game in Tallahassee, Fla. FSU quarterback EJ Manuel completed 27 of 35 passes for 380 yards with two touchdowns, leading the Seminoles to a 49-37 victory. New FSU quarterback Jameis Winston will look to have similar success against Clemson's defense at Death Valley.
Other games to watch: Miami at North Carolina (Thu., Oct. 17); UCLA at Stanford (TBA); LSU at Ole Miss (TBA); TCU at Oklahoma State (TBA); South Carolina at Tennessee (TBA); USC at Notre Dame (7:30 p.m.)
I feel pretty good that I'll be seeing them there!
Shiz, I didn't even realize GameDay was going to be there!
Of course it's not announced yet, but I would be shocked if they weren't. They loved being there in 2006, the one & only time they have visited. Still my favorite day of Clemson football ever!!

I would be really surprised if Gameday was not there. From what I have seen, it seems to be the consensus pick for the best game of week 1 and it features two teams in a lot of people's preseason top 10 both of whom are popular picks for a dark horse NC run. I just want to put it out there right now though. If at least one beer bottle isn't thrown at Corso, I will be disappointed.
Jadeveon Clowney on Tajh Boyd: "He is scared every time we play them. I know he's listening to this right now but I'm telling the truth." Jadeneon Clowney on Aaron Murray: "You can look at a guy and tell if he’s scared. If he’s staring at me before the ball is snapped, if he’s staring at me before every snap, I’m just like: Oh, we got him. I told (my teammates): He’s shook. We’ve just gotta get a couple hits on him (and) he’ll turn the ball over. Throwing before he wants to, sliding.”

The gloves are off! Hooray for football season!
Spurrier sure has taught him well. Like coach like player. I for one like having a program that shows respect for an opponent, not talks smack all the time. Just reason #6,317 why I hate the Gamecocks.
Also, I hate wishing injuries or acts of God on a player, but he's kinda making me rethink that stance. For many reasons.
Yeah, yeah, he can talk all he wants. Let's see how it works out in November.
Dabo: “Tajh Boyd’s not scared of anybody. He (Clowney) is a great football player, no doubt about that. I look forward to getting another shot at him later this year.”

I'd be scared of someone that sacked me 4.5 times in a game. hopefully our offensive live is paying attention, more than Tajh is.

Holy d*cks. For once, Sang is the most reasonable of your ilk.
