First-time Bonnaroovian, coming from Northern California!
Looking to vibe with some good company, and enjoy some amazing musicians. Traveling with my brother and I. We're familiar with the whole festives of festivals, (Coachella/Rock the Bells/EDC/Sasquatch veterans) that's why we're both like-- FU**Dge. We can only pack so much onto this trip, especially what we can carry on flight. Been looking for a good Bonnaroo forum and was told to come here!
So my brother and I are wondering if we can be good company with new and old Bonnaroovians? And if anyone coming from the West Coast if you guys want to come and be lost with us!!!! We're getting a rental, and looking at the jist of things and the most we can bring, including tent and our little tent fan, we're going to have a shitty set-up, no shade, going to have to get a styrofoam cooler, etc. I don't know how Tennessee sun is compared the California sun, but from reading it seems it just as desert hot during the spring/summer. So we're wondering if we can join or anyone want to join us and we could put together a list, plan a meet-up, see what we can all bring and put it together!
We are coming from Northern California too. Flying in as well. This will be my second Roo. If you plan on checking in a bag I think you'll be surprised at how much you can you bring. Seriously forget the styrofoam cooler and just check a regular cooler, the airline will let you, and pack it with your supplies. With two of us last year we pretty much were able to bring everything but, chairs. Even shade. But, having real cool neighbors who had better shade made it better. The heat in the south is different than what we are used too for sure.
