While I'm Still Here is the one that I'm loving the most, but I don't dislike any song on the album. Copy of A, Satellite, While I'm Still Here are my most favorite.
Overall I like the new album, a few songs I could do without though. Especially "Everything"...seriously, who the fuck put that on the record? Did no one have the balls to tell Trent it sucked?
On a different note, I'm so excited for the San Antonio show. I haven't seen the setlists from this leg of the tour, so ready for a surprise.
Also, NIN just announced that they're going to do an ACL Live taping Nov. 4th, the day before their San Antonio show. Just entered for passes, fingers crossed I get drawn! Just saw Widespread Panic this weekend at the Moody Theater, and seeing NIN in that size venue would be phenomenal to say the least.
I've been to multiple NIN shows, but never got to see or enjoy them because the people I've been with needed too much babysitting. At MOEMS this past weekend I FINALLY got to see an entire show. We were in seats and I could see every single person on stage and heard every single note. It was freaking awesome. Was in tears at the end because it was so long coming. Absolutely brilliant!
Anybody know if there are posters for this tour? Would really like to get one since MOEMS didn't have any
You going to the San Antonio show?
I bought my tickets from the NIN fan club, included in the recent email I just got was this:
"A tour merchandise stand will open at 4:30PM, weather permitting, outside the venue for those looking to purchase merchandise with time to place it in their vehicle or elsewhere before entering the show. In addition to regular tour merchandise, there will be a limited number of art posters only available for sale at this location (not inside the venue) with a limit of one art poster per customer."
So there's definitely at least one special edition poster that's only available before the show. No idea if there's another poster available inside the venue at the normal merch stands.
Great show last night, and glad I finally got to meet up with jigawig!
Nice set list, would have preferred a few more songs from Pretty Hate Machine to the Downward Spiral, but still very solid. Terrible Lie -> March of the Pigs -> Piggy was pretty killer, definitely brought me back a few years. The tracks from The Fragile really stood out for me too.
The light show/stage set up was fantastic too. Overall a very good show, I'll be seeing NIN when they come near on the next leg of the tour.
Great to meet you as well, Rothric!!! Last nite was definately a better show than MOEMS, at least visually. I was dancing my ass off the whole show, and I guess the "true" NIN fans were looking at me like "What is this vato doing?" (have to realize that like 90% of the venue was of Hispanic origin). The crowd, at least on the floor, was no where near being what it was at MOEMS...of course, I have to remember that all of the people there last nite were there specifically for NIN, where as at MOEMS people were there for a plethora of reasons! Great show, none the less
