Can't wait for 'our collective' un-roo to start tomorrow!!! ALl the sulkers had best get on some roo bling and join the lady Sarah on chat!
My kitty has been sick all day She ate a spider last night (at my command; I was barefoot and in the bathroom, she saved the day!) and then she puked all night. She hasn't eaten today and did not touch her water. I'm giving her bits of water in a little syringe every 30 minutes. She is pitiful
OH man MIkeZ.. SO sorry you are missing it because of your knee!! Thought of you and yours this morning. The accident that your sons were in on the way there last year. Came to mind after reading the I-24 thread. Hang in there and get well! [/quote
Thanks Fawn, glad you guys made it! I was thinking of you over the weekend as I was having my clam roll at the Clam Shack but I would really rather have been packing the car. I've been trying to feel a part of things through the Inforoo postings but got sick to my stomach when I saw the news of the accidents, what a tragedy that was, they were really lucky last year. I hope you have a great time, not making it this year is a lot more depressing that I expected, there's nothing like Bonnaroo. I should be more mobile for Newport, maybe our paths will cross there.
I fully plan on breaking out some brewskis, lawn chairs, and hula hoops to go along with a back yard webcast tomorrow night. I suggest an inforoo webcast/chat party.
Hey Guys Can I hang out with you too? /not familiar with the "tinychat" thing...
Then Drive fast!! Rumor has it the menu will be pretty good on saturday. Grazing day... (I'm not either... rely on Quacker and Sarah for the chat stuff.)

Mike - we are sitting on butts right on up the road from you. We did not go this year either.... Sharing your pain. Felt the same way about that news.
And yes more mobile for NFF!! Nothing major like your knee but I fractured my foot last weekend so have got the 6 week boot. Thankfully as of today I can move at least around the house without crutches. Not more than that. But i ll take the freedom around the house. No driving yet.... Super YAY for clamshack!!! I've already put 5 lbs back on because of them dammmmit!
Don't know about ya'll.. Got some chills going on. With the accident last night taking two Roo'ers and hurting many more, and Mumford cancelling in the last hour, Quack Club/streaming is feeling cozier than ever.
Roughly translated to a positive, I am so grateful to have wonderful friends on this thread, a home that we love, and to share that tomorrow in person or via web for Nonaroo 2013.

Hey Fawn, Holy Crap! I just figured you and Don were basking in the 80 degree Tennessee farmland with the Bonnaroo magic all around and yet here we all are far from the fun. So sorry to hear about your injury. I hope somebody is there representing the East Bay. If my math is correct you'll be done with the boot in time for Newport? I hope so. Probably see you around the board a lot this weekend. I wonder how crutches are are on crushed quahog shells, let me know.
Mike... IF and prob. a big IF, the collective we are functioning at a reasonable hour saturday we would like to take the Maineiacs to CS for lunch. If that might work for you PM me a phone # so we can call or test to let you know. Must sleeepz. XO all.
Amish doughnut 3 pack is filling in. Mark it dude.
Did you just have 3 ABC doughnuts? I hate you. In the I hope all that dough makes you constipated kind of hate. Jk. but those things are soooooo good! Thanks for making me salivate. Next time ask for Nate and tell him I sent you.

Nah just one. My first, it was awesome. Can't believe how good reception is this year! Almost like wifi.
^ SOSMP is my venue of choice. The music on the farm is top notch, but I enjoy the Farm for the pulled pork sandwiches from the Gastropod and the people.
No offense JHo, but why aren't you grabbing a day pass or something and heading down for at least Saturday or Sunday? If I lived within a couple hours of Bonnaroo there's no way I'd ever miss a year completely - even if I couldn't get a day off, I'd ride in Friday after work and catch the rest of the weekend.
No offense taken. I have two reasons. The first being I need to save all of my money for my Glastonbury trip; even a day ticket would set me back $100, not including the beer and food I would conusme. The second reason is that I leave for my trip in 7 days, so I needed to spend this weekend packing, shopping, and doing the things I need to get done before I leave next Saturday. Basically I'm trying to be a responsible adult.
It was always the plan that if I got a Glasto ticket, I wouldn't go to Roo since they are so close together. It's just been a lot hard than expected because everyone (minus my boyfriend) that I know is there. And work is slow so I have more time to think about it.
