Here's the ZZ Top show in MP3 format for those of you who can't yet get into Dime (or who want it in that format for whatever reason), along with a direct link to the info.txt file. Please download both.
Muchos!! gracias to all who make this kind of thing possible.
(If others feel compelled to share files with those less fortunate - WITH THE PERMISSION OF THE ORIGINAL TAPERS - and are running a Macintosh, here's how. Open up your FLAC files in Toast Titanium, set the space between tracks to 0 sec. Then save the whole shebang as a disc image, with the extension .Sd2f.
Dump the .Sd2f file into ITunes. Right click to 'convert file to MP3' or WAV or AAC or whatever - the format will be determined by whatever you have set as your own import preferences for ITunes. Then just upload to your file sharing service of choice. Works a treat and runs pretty fast.)

Divemistressofdark. bless your soul! HOpefully I can get into Dime and download the Flac's seperately so I can work some tag magic to them for my listenting devices. I normally dont work with the FLAC files so I didnt know what to do with the superjam last night till I downloaded some free junk. it worked well but I feel kinda dirty with it on my system. never know what that shiz will install.
ZZ was on my MUST SEE at all costs list. i skipped out on the tail of paul to get close. got some super photos to boot.
edit, i see this is one gigantic MP3.
im keeping my fingers crossed for Dwight Yoakam and Billy Idol too.
Sorry about all the problems people seem to be having with Dime. If anyone wishes to share these two files somewhere else, you have our blessing. Just please keep the info.txt file intact.
If somebody could please post a non-Dime link to the David Byrne/St. Vincent show? My wife is, like, standing behind me with her arms folded, chewing the inside of her cheek and tapping her toe.
Maybe this is a board TOU thing, but is there any reason why Inforoo can't host torrent files as attachments to the original post in this thread? It's not like we'd be hosting the music itself. I'm grateful for the work of the tapers and I hate to see it getting trapped in the Dime bottleneck.

I am just curious. I have a dime account and a current ratio of .86 (getting back to 1 right now!) so I don't have any problem downloading shows from there. I was wondering why dime has been chosen as the default torrent site here at inforoo? Does it offer any special advantages that the other sites like bt.etree lack? This question is mainly for those who currently cannot download these shows. thanks in advance.

its not the default site, its just what the individual taper uploads it to, some are on etree, some are on dime or tradersden.
please make sure to seed these at least for a few weeks. it's not like this is like major copyrighted material that you don't want tracked. Many of my downloads are at a stand still. thanks in advance everyone!

"It's hard to say whether seeing Kellz backed by Jim James and his lion's mane hairdo or Billy Idol rocking out next to John Oates and his soul patch was weirder to watch. Let's just say both were beautifully bizarre sights to behold."
Here's our last one for a while. We're on vacation for the next 9 days. This will give us a chance to see if our remaining tapes came out OK. If we are lucky, we have 17 more shows (all of our stage shows are up now except for The Cults- the rest are all tent shows). We'll get back on it when we return. Hope the troubles with Dime get resolved. Signing off.
YAY!!! dime is open to new registrations..... I got in. Floyds.. thanks SO MUCH FOR THE DWIGHT YOAKAM! you made my morning. sadly ill have to wait till tonight to download since my work would FREAK OUT.
Bjork is the one thing I am looking most forward to, video or audio (I know it wasn't streamed). Unfortunately there probably wasn't any tapers out there, Floyd for instance was at Dwight Yoakam. I have looked at just about all of the videos on Youtube and I can't see any mics in the air.
