From what Stephanie had mentioned earlier this year, the jam should have a lot of the bands Warren has been apart of over the years. I would expect The Allman Bros, Govt Mule, Warren Haynes band, and Further (or some grateful dead combo)
I would love to see some of the guest artists on govt mules new album there such as Jim James, Elvis Costello, and Grace Potter.
Awesome Line-up so far. Govt Mule, Phil Lesh Quintet, Aquarium Rescue Unit, John Scofield, OAR, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Keb Mo, Michael Franti, and Sco-Mule (Govt Mule colaboration with John Scofield)!!!
6/12: Rolling Stones 7/3-5: Fare Thee Well 7/11: Judas Priest 7/18: Tyler, the Creator 7/20: Manson / Corgan 7/23: Failure 7/30: Faith No More / Refused 7/31, 8/7-8: MMJ 8/15: Neurosis 9/17: Chelsea Wolfe 10/3: Run the Jewels 10/7: Alt-J 10/8: Ghost
Is anybody going to do the "lend a hand before the jam" with Habbitat for Humanity this year?
I have done it the past couple of years and it has been a blast...I'm already signed up because they always ask past volunteers first but they will be opening the sign up sheet to any one who wants to volunteer next Monday.
Warren is always there for the wall raising event for the Christmas jam house...so it's always nice to get to talk with Warren.

The last time they did 2 nights they had 16 bands total. We are at 9 right now. I am expecting at least two more headliner-ish sized bands. Panic, String Cheese, Ump, TAB, Santana (?).
Either way, hotel (hostel) is booked see you guys there.
If anyone is looking for a cheap place to stay $60 a night. Google Asheville hostel (aahostel.com) I think. We stayed there for DBT last year and have some rooms booked this year. It's an awesome place, shared bathroom/common rooms, doesn't care about corn consumption outside, right across a parking lot to a brewery and .5 miles from the venue.
