Posting mobile so I'll be short here. Since it looks like I am the swing vote there really is no sense in taking this into a runoff. Monky, it's awesome that you have jumped in and researched other games to get a grip on people's play styles. A couple things you should have noticed: Phi is really only a good player when he has a power role, as town he is usually very unhelpful. Also, trading jabs with jimmy will almost always get you nowhere. He can construct some hella good arguments, which I am actually on board with this time.
You know what? The more I look at what jimmy has said, the less confident I am about my feelings towards monky. Maybe I'm just intimidated by his experience or unsure of how to interpret what he has said.
G >> monkybunney >> jimmyroo
I'm sure the rest of the town would love to hear your brilliant reasoning for why you find it proper to stack me up for a straight vote off right before a voting deadline. I know I would. Please elaborate.
My erratic actions were just that, erratic. It was only a couple of minutes until the voting cutoff and I was scrambling around trying to make sense of everything. There was no sound reasoning behind it, other than going on my gut feeling at (was, at the time) the last second.
Well I am not mafia and this is my first rodeo so I didn't expect to last the 8 seconds. That being said, with my last breath I will say that I believe Jimmy and Bogart are mafia. I think Jimmyroo is mafia because he pushed hard for @ntellier85 to get voted out and he's one of the more experienced players. The mafia needs to knock out the experienced guys first which is why I think mike d got whacked and jimmyroo was pushing people to vote for pheezus. Good luck townsfolk!
As the would-be revelers face the dawn of their second day in the strange city of Las Vegas, they are also faced with the grisly evidence of their decision to eliminate monkybunney. They once hoped he would be a fun traveling companion, but over the course of the night, as accusations flew through the air faster than the cards being dealt on tables all around them, they came to believe he was a dangerous Mafiosi who meant them harm. Once they made that decision, the charge was led to take him out, and the remains of his mangled corpse attest to the group's' determination.
As Day 2 begins, the uneasiness only grows, as the remaining group members wonder who is next...
Will post videos later. Hard to do from my phone. (Mafia, PM me your whack. Inspector, PM your guess.)
I'm pretty ready to get this thing going too. It took right at twelve hours last time, so there must be something hanging up o'neil from starting the next day. I'd be pretty happy if the mafia missed a whack due to a late entry, but I assume that the same rules apply for the inspector if they are still around. Hopefully it's the mafia that is missing their pick and not the inspector.
Hm. Not the whack I expected. Ella has been kind of quiet this game. I was sure Jimmy was going down. He can be a very valuable townie and has already (seemingly) provided a lot of good insight. He also is an excellent mafia; often going undetected since as mafia, he will play like a townie. So I wonder if him not being whacked means he is mafia, or if it means he is being set up by mafia. Could go either way I guess.
I'd like to see him in the runoff, and perhaps either G or Krissy.
Can't quote on mobile, but this is in response to Jimmy. #1, I'm not necessarily locked in yet. #2, no, I am not suggesting pfunk not be in the runoff. I was suggesting a runoff with pfunk, jimmy, and either G or Krissy. #3 where's the inspector anyway? Dead?
Explanations for my votes: I voted for pfunk initially, he reciprocated, causing the vp situation. I was going to keep my vote on pfunk, but when it looked like we weren't going to have a runoff, I moved to Phi to get one.
If we're going for a three-person run-off, I'd like to see G in there because of his uber quietness and erratic voting at the end of the last day.
Well that wasn't what I was expecting when I came home. Not sure what Ella would have done to rile the mafia since she had been pretty quiet. I'm gonna have to look at a few more things before I have a good idea of where to go from here. We have to make the right decision because if there are enough mafia left then this could be the last round of the game.
I will go ahead and address some of the things Jimmy has said.
Edit: Doh! G doesn't have a vote yet... everyone is still at one.
pfunk >> linana
You can trust that I am not clever enough to have the foresight to make my initial vote for G just so I would have a good excuse to vote for Linana in case it came up later. I'm sure cleverness has never been something I've been associated with.
I've been away all day and come back to craziness! I'm not okay with voting someone straight out right now. Especially when nothing is jumping out at me as overly suspicious.
To get another runoff: krissyjo>>>pfunk>>>phi
Krissy and Pfunk were also VPs...
I'm pretty sure Phi changed his vote because you were on him early. He wanted to make a point to you, specifically, so I wound up escaping his vote. That's on the two of you, not me. Also, Krissy indicated she moved her vote to make another runoff, so assuming those were here true intentions then that's on her and not me. As for your VP point, sure we were. So were lots of people. Put as much stock into that as you like.
These are logical connections to make, and obviously at this point I'm suspicious as fuck, so I'm not surprised by anybody wanting to vote for me. It's definitely the easy way to go. Just take a good look at people voting for me, townies, because if we make it through tonight then they'll be the ones I'd suspect the most.
So at this point I don't see any reason to stack on folks who already have a vote. G is obviously suspicious with his flip flopping, and I'd be happy to see him in the runoff. The only reason I'm skeptical is for one of the reasons that I have been drawing suspicion: If he was mafia, wouldn't his posts/voting be better? I've been told I sound like I post like a mafia member is advising my posts, so if that's a real thing then surely someone would have told G not to draw that kind of suspicion to himself. It's not much of a defense for him but it does make me want to use my vote elsewhere for the time being.
I'm suspicious of Jimmy to a lesser extent, not really enough that I'm willing to push him closer to the chopping block. He has stated in more than one game that he likes to play aggressively when he's town, and so far he has been living up to that billing. I can see Linana's point that his surviving the whack could be suspicious, but I'm not ready to act on that idea yet.
So at this point I'm looking at the rest of the field and wondering who to throw my vote to. One thing I keep thinking about is why Tejas would decide to kill himself at the beginning to protect Phi. It just doesn't make any sense to do yourself in for someone you don't know would help your cause. Unless you do know that they'd help your cause. It might be an absurd notion, but what if we did have two mafia in that initial runoff? That, combined with Phi's silence here lately, is what makes me want to cast a vote his way. Maybe this will get him talking again.
pfunk > Phi
Sidenote: I will be out and about for most of the day so I won't be able to post until much later tonight. I'll still be keeping up via mobile, but won't be able to say much.
I have been having a hard time trying to figure out the ella whack. The obvious guess would be they thought she was inspector. If this is the case then we need to strongly consider pfunk as he has escaped both runoffs unharmed and was ella’s choice up until the 2nd runoff last round. That being said I do not see a reason to vote pfunk straight off so I am voting for G because of his movements’ late last game (stacking on monky then jimmy).
