I've stayed at the Galt (for a work thing, not Forecastle) this summer and dug it. Would totally be worth it for the fest I'm sure, but here's the thing. Parking RIGHT NEXT TO THE VENUE is only $5 each day, so paying an extra $100-150 for a hotel that close to the venue isn't really worth it unless you plan to go crazy in the bourbon tent. The first time I went, I stayed in the Brown Hotel about a mile from the waterfront for about $100/night (thanks, Priceline!) and paid to park every day. Last year, we stayed at the hotel south of downtown right next to the airport/fairgrounds for about $75/night (again, priceline) and paid to park. Traffic was never terrible, and I'd probably take the route again.
I might pop down this year if Outkast is playing (they are) and aren't going to be at Bonnaroo. Forecastle's a nifty little festival, much better than my hometown Bunbury.
So which is the closest hotel? I don't want to drive anywhere, before or after, we want to walk.
I stayed at the Courtyard Marriot, and it was no more than a 5 minute walk. Closer than the Galt.
Also, I had a chance to chat with Los Campesinos! last week, and they said they had one more show in Chicago and then they were heading home, but coming back again to the States pretty soon this year. I asked about Bonnaroo and they said "no, not that one." Which, to me, implied a different one.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Third clue and the text says "Plaid Party" - Plaid Cymru is a political party in Wales where Los Campesinos! is from. Don't know the first clue yet, but this is definitely the answer for today's takeover clues.
Edit - first clue refers to their song No Tetris - "perfect weather for a hanging."
Yeah, I get it now. It's not really clues like Roo Clues, just some artist taking over the Forecastle instagram and posting whatever they want. It's all pictures from Lucius' facebook apparently, so I'd go with that.

Checking in, I'll definitely be there as this is my hometown festival. Last year I was able to sneak in a fair amount of contraband (not drugs) by strategically placing it before they put up the barriers. It was excellent.
