I'm excited for a whole bunch of these. I saw Phantogram last month and their new material wasn't that great. Also curious to see what the Bombay Bicycle Club album is like. I remember checking them out 5+ years ago and then forgot all about them, surprised by their resurgence.

It also has Money on My Mind, Nirvana, and Safe With Me on it, none of which were commercially available in the US and are some of the best songs to come out this month.
Sticking to "Albums only" is swearing allegiance to an antiquated music distribution model.

The cassingle is antiquated. EPs are appetizers. The long playing album is still where it's at.
It's not my thread anyway, if GL wants to allow EPs, mixtapes and two-song streamers that's cool.

If you don't consider Frank Ocean's Nostalgia Ultra EP "where it's at," that's on you not me.

I'm actually having a hard time accepting an EP. If that were the case I could have voted for a few singles vs an album of songs. EP's are easier to make and generally cheaper. The fact that same songs are gonna end up on the album adds to my plight.
dont do it. I got away with it last year when I voted Youth Lagoon, but caught a lot of flack for it. But do what you want, man.
Those who give out flack best have my fucking back.
No flack given. Just remember if you wanna change your vote, you can. That said, remind me in a few weeks if I don't have it on the start of the February votes.

Sam Smith - Nirvana (EP) (2) (iamthehorn, glennron)

Sam Smith had my favorite release this month. Whether or not you can "accept" that doesn't make much difference to me.
It has little to do with accepting that it was your favorite release. By definition, its not an album, that's all. Like I said, I'll be happy to include it if that's what people want.
