Can I get a temperature check on the proposed Sang rule? If Sang is the only one that doesn't buy in, and in some miraculous event he wins the league - the winner of prize money goes to the 2nd place finisher.
It's also looking like a $10 buy-in. Everyone ok with that?

That all sounds good to me. I think there should be some sort of strict deadline for the funds, I'll leave that up to you. I've played with some in the past who backed out because a star player went on the DL early in the season. Just let me know when and what type of payment method. Also, is there going to be one winner? Or top 3 get paid? Maybe 1st gets 50% 2nd 30% 3rd 20%? Just a suggestion. There are a ton of variables especially with a 16 team league.
There's a few people who asked to join and didn't get in, but I will probably invite them to join a freeroll league which I'm in. There's only six teams, needs a few more if anyone's interested in an auction draft. Just try and stick around for the whole year if you want to play there.
I invited GeneralFun to join, which puts us at 17.
There's a few people who inquired. A group of people who have like 60-70 posts each. So unless some major name steps along, one of them gets the 18th and final spot.
I'm all for fun leagues or whatever, but I never got the constant push for more people. What's wrong with 16? That's already about 100 players deeper than any standard league.

I can always kick Sang out, for not willing to front the $10 buy-in while everyone else is taking the gamble. It'd be one less thing to stress over.

IMO, being a money league now, the fact that someone dosnt have $ in the game and can theoretically fix the league with their matchups/trade A caliper players for trash/or bail on the league in general because someone gets hurt (leaving someone to play the scrub team twice why I only play it once) kinda has the potential to ruin it down the line.

Can you elaborate? Is this a problem you have with the matchup schedule? I know you're cool with the buy in bc you already paid.

I agree, it's happened plenty in some of my past leagues, it's annoying and those involved should die via Poena Cullei.

Just a scenario ive seen happen. Say for the first half of the season Sang, You, and I went 100%. You play sangs team twice in the first half, I play them twice in second half. Say 3/5 of Sangs first 5 picks end up done for the year at the halfway point and he just gives up. You would of went against Sang with a full, star studded lineup against your full, star studded lineup twice in the first half. Now if he quit at the halfway mark, I would have 2 matchups against him still while you do not. And my matchups will be against a team whos starting lineup hasnt changed in 4 weeks while you had to play him twice when he was still putting out the best lineups possible daily.
I'm not super concerned about that kind of stuff. It's kind of arbitrary when half of someone's roster goes down, and anyone could get lucky late in the season with games against an injury riddled roster. That stuff happens in real life all the time too.
I'm curious what alternative suggestion you would have.
Oh jesus, I'll pay the $10 for Sang to be in the league. He doesn't have to pay me anything if he wins, I'd be buying his services as the guy I fuck with the most.

Thanks for the offer. What was the amount that was decided on? I'm just not in a position to give away $25 or whatever right now.
