Maybe because I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac fan (and they said they want to play a festival this summer/they're touring again this summer) I saw the Steven (SIC) as potentially being Stevie Nicks. Other commenters on instagram and reddit have also pointed out that The Shining and Rumours came out in the same year and Fleetwood Mac has an track called "The Sun is Shining"

It's Holographic John Denver, you guys.
The glasses. "The Shining" takes place in Colorado, where Denver is. Stephen King writes a bunch of shit about ghosts and coming back from the dead and stuff. PH = PostHumous.
Here goes another stretch: My guess: Empire of The Sun Why? Three parts: The Shinning, The glasses, and the misspelled Steven King
Steven Spielberg directed a movie called Empire of The Sun and he's working with Stephen King on a new show "under the dome"
Also King => Empire
The shinning and sun glasses = Sun (you wear sun glasses to cover yourself from the shinning of the sun) I think Steven and King are more important to the clue, and the fact that it's the shinning was a nice addition They probably added the glasses to make it more clear.

How much of a stretch is this?
I think one of the ones that makes the most sense to me but I just don't think try will be back so probably not
Stephen King's "The Shining" has been made into a movie. Twice.
The second iteration starred SteVen Weber, who was best known for his roles on TV, primarily in "Wings." Wings is a band, which features Paul McCartney ... and Denny Laine. Laine was also in a band featuring the color of the glasses.
The answer: The Moody Blues
i am super late to this, but i need to give some perspective from a huge moody blues fan...
it isnt the moody blues. if they show up, they will nto play a single song they performed while he was with the band.
Denny Laine left in '66, they release days of future passed in '67.
i can see your thought trail, it is just one huge stretch. but hey, if you are right and the moody blues are there, i will see you near the rails. saw them in cleveland a few years ago, john/justin/graeme can still kick it.

What about Monsters of Folk? Three parts (Bright Eyes, M.Ward, Jim James) The Shining and glasses could refer to bright eyes. The spelling of Steven King could refer to Jim James spelling his name Yim Yames and King has written about monsters.
Its Elvis Costello and the Imposters. Those are Elvis Costellos glasses, Steven is the imposter for Stephen and SIC is; sic - A parenthetical insertion used in printing quotations or reported utterances to call attention to something anomalous or erroneous in the original, or to guard against the supposition of misquotation. Those are the the parts.
Empire of the Sun played a late night slot last year. There is no way they bring them back - none. They aren't going to repeat a late night act so soon, and where the hell else do you put them?
Earlier spot at Which? Like Portugal The Man last year?

This clue is definitely referring to Ben Folds Five. The glasses are Ben Folds. And the incorrect spelling on purpose is a reference to the fact that there are only three members in Ben Folds FIVE. The Shining is King's third book, another reference to there being three members. Most importantly, Ben is part of BLAM.
Edit: Also, the "This clue has three parts" is another reference to there being three members in the band.
