The mud was simply awful, especially when you were trying to get into the main stage field. I skipped Trey the last night because it was so bad.
Why the heck don't they gravel those high-traffic areas? Or cover them with mulch and hay? They really really need to improve the roads, it was ridiculous.
Also, the mud in front of the tent stages was nasty. How did it get so muddy under those huge tents? They need to put down much more sand, or gravel or pave under the tent stages.

I agree with you 100%.
There were a lot of things that could've been done to help that situation and they chose not to do them. I expected it to get sloppy when it rained, but not like that.
Superfly really didn't have their sh!t together in several areas this year and the roads/mud was just one example.

My friends and i were really enjoying the sandy mud (if you saw 4 girls standing in a big puddle of mud outside during last hour of Primus that was us) so i would suggest they put sand eveywhere plus it is really good for your feet.

I admit I was surprised that nothing was done to address the mud this year. Last year they brought in extra sand, and that was in response to what now seem like light sprinkles compared to this year's downpour. The mulch outside the middle entrance was a good idea to help stave off the muddiness. Just wish there'd been some reaction after Sat night to tone down the extreme muddiness, esp. between Centeroo and the main stage. You know it's bad when you choose to walk 2 feet in front of or behind the portolets because doing so is the better option.
agreed. That area between Centeroo and the mainstage was a sea of mud. I mean that's great if you're already covered in mud, you really wouldn't care. Some of us tried to keep our feet dry, and that area really made it impossible. I just took my shoes off and walked it rather than soaking my shoes. Even if they just would have made a path with boards or something it would have been better. It's simple little things like that, that go a long way in making things better for all of us.
