Throughout the day I have thought about what Anu Solomon did last night and let myself get excited for his career here. Then I remember the past and get mad at myself for letting myself get excited at all.
There are one hundred million footballs games still on, it's crazy. It's going to be interesting to see who ends up in the playoff. Georgia is the most impressive team I've seen yet, followed by A&M and USC. Oregon is about to play, Wisconsin looks good, Stanford looked good too, but against UC Davis. I have no idea how good Alabama or West Virginia are yet.

Clemson's defense disappointed me the entire game, they're supposed to be the strength of our team. I expected Gurley to get his, but we our d-line and lbs didn't make plays like they are expected to. Offense played well in the first half then just disappeared. The entire second half was dominated by uga. their o-line and running game were unstoppable and their defense kept us with horrible field position and a bunch of 3 and outs. I'm not sure what happened with the offense, we were pretty much moving the ball at will in the first half. second half couldn't get anything going at all, we didn't even throw the ball down the field any. We were out coached and out played. I'm not surprised that we came out with a loss, but I am shocked the way we lost. I still think we can win 9-10 games this year. Uga's defense looks like it's going to turn out to be a lot better than I thought and no one will be able to stop that army of rbs they have.
Not sure what the f*ck Bobo was doing only giving it to Gurley 5 times in the first half.
also nick chubb:
Didn't notice it during the game but Chubb losing his cleat makes the run even more impressive.
Honestly couldn't be any more happy with the way UGA played. Never seen a UGA team put together a half of football as flawless as that. Special teams are a HUGE step up from last year. Pruitt took a patchwork secondary and made them look solid. Pass rush could be one of the best Georgia's had since David Pollack and will only improve as the season progresses. Todd Gurley proves he is the best back in college football. Add in the depth of grown man true freshman Chubb, Marshall and Michel to keep him fresh and he is unstoppable.

So Auburn's offense looked awesome and their defense... well... It looks like every game will be a race to the finish again and I don't know if my heart can take it. I mean, I'll subject myself to it but I'm not confident I can take it.
It was fun to watch Duke Williams though. Our receivers are scary good this year.

Like I said before the game you'll have to keep Gurley on the field. Chubb made that big run late, but other than that we pretty much stopped anyone not named Gurley. What really impressed me was your O-line, the way they handled our D-line. Your defense looked great, but that had a lot to do with field position and our offense going way conservative because of it. Looking at your schedule the only loss I see is Auburn. I think you'll handle SC pretty easily. You should definitely win the East.

Clemson's defense gave up 459 yards (that doesn't include Gurley's 100 yd KO return). I wouldn't consider that "pretty much stopping" sh*t. Your d-line which was touted as one of the best in the country got manhandled by an unspectacular offensive line. As for field position, you can thank CMR for emphasizing special teams this offseason.
No way the Clemson front 7 is close to being the best in the country.
FSU hangs 40+ week after next.

Fuck Chuckie Keeton Fuck Matt Wells Fuck Utah State Fuck Vegas and their bullshit odds.
I am sure one of you fucking killjoys are going to come in here trying to rain on my parade, but UT (who was barely favored coming in) dominated every phase of that game.

They only averaged 2.8 yards per rush. That's not getting it done in the SEC.
I don't care. Justin Worley had more rushing yards than Chuckie Keeton.

Congratulations on your hard fought victory against the MWC powerhouse that is Utah St. You guys are obviously prepared to take it to the next level (.500), but don't get too far ahead of yourself you have a real test against Arkansas St. next week.
Random Football thought I have been meaning to share for a while.
Random little fact about College Gameday that some might find interesting. Apparently before the season starts they decide on about 18-20 schools they would like to visit based on expected performance, markets, previous turnouts, etc. Then they create a few mock schedules based on various outcomes and inform the target schools before the season begins when they are likely to visit. I found out a few weeks ago that the UofA is one of the target schools and Gameday is mostly likely to visit on Oct 11th for USC.
