Sort of he was the last act on the harbor stage that day and i knew he would hang around. So i walked up to the rail and waited for him. The people on the far side of the stage were rushing him and he told them to relax and came right to me instead. I just told him he's beautiful, thank you for an awesome day and shook his hand. Then walked over to mmj and saw some crazy lightning come down and run through the soccer fields to my car completely soaked.
PS beaker My parents and I are going to that the Wind + the Wave show! I haven't been to the Wolf Den in years. Any of you been recently? Will I get shut out of the area if I don't arrive early?
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Heather and her sister took her dad to see Blood Sweat & Tears there about a year ago - shut out, even showing up an hour in advance.
I've never been able to get inside the actual den, but usually stand just outside of it - or in the bar area by the entrance.

Nice! super Jealous!
I've been there, if you want to get inside, then plan on being there a few hours early. Only one person has to stand in line for the group though. So you can take turns waiting in line.

I'm jealous of people who aren't from his neck of the woods, who aren't inundated with Dallas Green, and therefore, are not completely sick of him. I truly did like him a lot at one point! (Awesome story, nonetheless!)

I don't know what these concerts are, but it's worth mentioning that Blood Sweat & Tears is probably A LOT more popular than the Wind and the Wave.
I saw Matthew E White last night, and the band that opened " Wilsen" was fantastic! Check them out! They slightly remind me of "Monsters and Men" but not fully
This studio Dawes song sounds like it was recorded in one take. I know they mentioned that they wanted their new album to sound more like their live show. Pretty cool.

Agreed that it sounds like one take. I was excited by that rolling stone article on the new album. while I liked Stories Don't End, it felt a little too much like a studio record from a band that's much better as a live band. Like that live Newport version of "From the Right Angle" is much more exciting than the album one. So I have high hopes for this new album (although I'm not sure how I feel about the title)
Dawes and First Aid Kit are plying NYC the day after Newport. Between that and Exponential right before, I would say it's pretty much confirmed Dawes will be back at the Fort
Bob Dylan is scheduled in Europe through 7/16, seems like that will be the end of his Europe trip. What do you all think the odds of getting him this year are?
I think Dylan and Simon are always going to be small possibilities. We know that they are generally too expensive. But in any given year NFF could woo them (or they could realize that they want to play at NFF). And of course, NFF would do anything in their reasonable power to get them there.

The new Tallest Man on Earth album is fantastic. Reeeaally hoping he's back this year! The new MMJ album is pretty good, going to take a couple more listens, but I know I'll end up loving it. Some good live potential on there. The new Lord Huron miiight be better than their first album. Has lots of great live potential. Really hoping they return! Even though I know they're out, the new Mumford & Sons album is actually pretty good. Really looking forward to see them perform some of the tunes live!

Where did you hear the mumford album?
They came into the radio station I intern at and played it for a bunch of contest winners.

If its ever going to happen again, this is likely the year to do it.
I'd bet he's the Sunday closer, but I wouldn't bet strongly on it.
