Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Spotify did this last year too and it is pretty nifty. If you're a heavy Spotify user this is an easy way to see a snapshot of what you were into this year.
How to do it:
1) Click the link above (you can do this on mobile or desktop, but it is easier to transfer results on the desktop version)
2) Log in
3) See your summary
This year's layout is a bit different than last years. There isn't a way to just see everything laid out at once, its like a scroll through thing but it appears that all the same info is there...
I thought it would be interesting to see everyone's results. And now that we have a thread, you can compare this year and last year. NOTE: Premium users will have more info listed apparently than Free users.

I didn't include my top 10 songs because it was all Sam Smith and SBTRKT. I think #10 was Autre Ne Veut, and maybe some Disclosure in there somewhere... But I left it out because I feel I pretty well established that I enjoy Sam Smith and SBTRKT...

This whole thing is great but it is skewed to the music that comes out early in the year and the music I listened in preparation for the various concerts and festivals that I went to this summer. I wish they had a way to view the last 12 months at any point in the year.

What I learned about myself: Dr. Dog is alright, I guess. :-P I should probably listen on my own Spotify account more often and stop giving my boyfriend all my cool points. Also, genres are a silly. WTF is Chamber Pop? (This is rhetorical, as I can look for my damn self... eventually.)

What is everyone listening to that Spotify is classifying as "Noise Pop"?
I consider "noise" to be an EXTREMELY abrasive genre, how can it be pop?
From Spotify: "Noise pop is alternative rock that combines elements of punk and noise with melodic pop structure and production. Noise pop usually uses standard rock instrumentation but applies effects such as fuzz, feedback and drone." Examples from their playlist include: Deerhunter, Cloud Nothings, Clinic, Wavves, Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, White Denim, Warpaint, Sonic Youth, Liars, Japandroids, Beach House, Future Islands.

So basically, indie? I don't know?
Wow, I don't think I'd consider any of those "noise", with the exception of maybe Liars. Thanks for the info though!

No problem. I don't consider those to be "noise" either, but it explains why it is showing up on everyone's stats.

There's a few songs on Attack on Memory and Here and Nowhere Else that I think would qualify as "noise" imo. Wasted Days is one that immediately comes to mind
I think I win the listening time: 62,173 minutes, average 5 hours a day This is listening to my playlists every time I drive, waste time in lectures, and basically any time I'm not concentrating on songwriting.

I am unsure if Spotify is accurate. I looked up what I listed to according to Last.FM and it reads differently. I would rather go by Last.FM just because it didn't list all of the natural sounds tracks that I fall asleep to occasionally. (Don't judge me. ????)

Now I know they're making shit up. I'm too lazy to go look up the definition of this one or their example artists right now though.
From Wiki:
Freak folk is a genre of folk music which uses mainly acoustic instrumentation, but introduces elements of avant-garde music, baroque pop, and psychedelic folk, often featuring uncommon sounds, lyrical themes, and vocal styles.
Devendra Banheart and Jana Hunter are a good example of Freak Folk. I prefer New Weird America (after a Banheart curated compilation in the early 00's, but whatever).
I got mine done but need to wait till I'm near a computer to post.

Did anyone else look at their "Play it forward" playlist? Mine had a couple of songs I've already listened to/starred/whatever, but so far I actually like most of the songs they suggested for me.
