Really wanna listen to Waxahatchee, Jlin, and The Very Best. Impossible to find anything that isn't blocked over here though.
Actually don't think I've heard ANY releases for April.
Ugh. That's horrible, man. I go crazy after just 2 days without listening to something new. I couldn't imagine not hearing anything all month.
I'm actually the opposite. I don't like the constant barrage of new stuff (March was tough for me!). Not that I don't like new stuff, but it usually take me a few listens to really get into an album. I need to spend time with it, get to really know it on a personal level. I don't like being overwhelmed by new stuff.
My brain's weird like that, sometimes it just needs that warm familiar blanket of something that's engrained in my psyche at that point.
Having said that, I love when I put on something new and it just blows me away. Sometimes I know instantly it's something that I'm going to fall in love with (John Talabot being a recent one of these for me).
1/30: Cold War Kids

It feels like I need a couple quiet months to process March. April and May being pretty good isn't helping.
Braids - Deep In The Iris Waxahatchee - Ivy Tripp The Very Best - Makes A King Bop English - Constant Bop Miami Horror - All Possible Futures Suuns and Jerusalem In My Heart - Suuns and Jerusalem In My Heart
Waxahatchee and Bop English are the best so far. I'm loving Miami Horror's newest though, goddamn.
Constant Bop is my favorite so far though Waxahatchee is great.
We got a song that had only ever been played once, which was really great.
Light on (read: no) All Hail West Texas, but plenty of Transcendental Youth and The Sunset Tree and a few select tracks from various other albums.
Sorry to hear about West Texas, but The Sunset Tree is probably my favorite. Transcendental Youth was awesome too. Hoping to hear some Tallahassee. Can't wait.

Built to Spill, Alabama Shakes and Joywave are all high notes for me this month so far. I still need to give Waxahatchee, and The Very Best a few more listens. This month is crazy will all the new releases.

Had an absolute blast last night.. Somehow managed to score front row and got to sing along with John.
Same deal here, lots of Transcendental Youth, Sunset Tree and Beat the Champ. Also played quite a few oldie-but-goodies. Played something for the first time on this tour, but I don't think we scored any only-played-once's.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but was Death Cab's Kintsugi part of March or is it fair game for April voting, since I think its release date was March 31? Or was it April 1?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

HM: Colin Stetson And Sarah Neufeld - Never Were The Way She Was Waxahatchee - The Ivy Tripp Speedy Ortiz - Foil Deer Blur - The Magic Whip Tribulation - The Children of the Night
I'm calling it. Unless something comes out of left field, nothing will beat that Fay record for me.
