Dude no joke I literally just finished the first episode before coming to this thread. I thought it was great! Lapkus and Gabrus are both so wildly entertaining that I'd probably listen to them talk about anything.
Definitely going to keep listening. I'm looking forward to being reminded of weird shows I've completely forgotten.
just listened to the new episode while i'm cooking. when they played the ren and stimpy song, i couldn't stop wishing that they snuck it into one of the jazz scenes in la la land. also, added to the list of things i didn't know i needed: betsy sodaro as roseanne.
Been getting really into NY Times' The Daily and NPR's Planet Money. Any recommendations for similar podcasts?
Planet Money is one of my all time favorites. Consistently interesting and well produced, it's always there when I need a 22 minute podcast to listen to. I even listen to the repeats.
i'm about 2/3rds of the way through this. Great roundtable discussion on comedy and politics in general, with a focus on conservative "comedy" as the title suggests.
i'm only 15 minutes into the cbb holiday episode and i already don't want it to ever end.
I've listened to it twice. MC Sugar Butt had everyone dying. Every segment is so good. Ming and Keith Jones not having a good premise was ridiculous. I love Ming.

i still have an hour left, and i can't explain how happy i am that ming is going to be coming up. when i saw jeremy rowley in the photo this week, i was hoping it was ming. i think i'd probably wreck my car if ming and chief were on together, but i was happy to hear sugar butt again. ho ho is one of my all time favorites, and john lennon was particularly funny at the start of this one. i can't wait to finish it and probably listen through again. oh also, chris matthews was absolutely ridiculous and had me almost in tears.

Things just really go off the rails in the second half. A lot of just random jokes and callbacks and hilarious shit. Definitely a lot of highlights later on (Gary Urbansky, Ernie Bread lol).
I got kind of tired of it after the 4th episode or so and just got someone at work to tell me the story.
I think Shit Town ruined me on other serial-esque podcasts.
I can understand this completely. I'm only one episode into Dirty John and it seems interesting enough, but S Town is like a perfect storm, true master-piece.

Any Mike Birbiglia fans in here? I've really enjoyed his podcast, The Old Ones. It's a miniseries to promote his new special. He and a friend listen to one of his old albums and talk about the jokes, their lives around the time of the special, and so on. Guests so far have included John Mulaney, Ira Glass, and Pete Holmes.

On this latest episode of the On The Record podcast, we debut our Artist Spotlight series. So, it's only fitting we cover an artist with a few good albums and a whole bunch of junk, including a brand new dumpster fire called Revival. Join us as we perform an autopsy on the rapper Eminem www.mixcloud.com/ontherecordpodcasts/episode-5-eminem-artist-spotlight/
I have never listened to podcasts before. I didn't get them. I tried several different ones that I thought would get my attention and that I would be able to listen to and enjoy. Well, I have busy work, crunching numbers, filing, ect and I decided to get some inforoo recommendations....The Black Tapes did it for me. I have no idea who recommended this since I haven't read this thread and only went through the ones listed in the OP. I am on season one episode 8 and have been listening non-stop. I even got thejeremy and my niece to listen. So, thank you whomever recommended this, my ears are happy.

Does anyone listen to the greatest Podcast about In and outs of Hamilton Highschool? I'm talking BIG GRANDE's TEACHER"S LOUNGE. Any fans of CBB should definitely be listening to this nonsense
Shit town is phenomenal. Weirdly, though, I can't get it to stream on my podcast app anymore. They might have taken it down or put it behind a paywall or something. Same deal for Analyze Phish recently.
Sucks. Those are two of the most re-listenable pods for me.
