So this last Spotify round has pretty much has me looking into other services. I’m leaning Apple but open to suggestions.
I've been using Tidal as my main streaming service for the past couple weeks. The only annoying difference is you don't notice how widespread Spotify is until you aren't using it anymore. For example, someone asked me for a rec the other day and I just opened Spotify back up to send them a link to something since I knew that's how they stream music. Other than that it's been great! Their custom mixes are way better, I've actually listened to the daily discover playlist every day and found great stuff every day. I definitely recommend it

started my tidal trial today. really like they have a feature that i've always been annoyed spotify never had: album credits.
Still haven't decided between napster and tidal. my 4yo likes using the voice command feature on our wi fi speakers (via google home) - dunno if napster supports that or not. That's not the highest priority, but if all things equal between napster and tidal, that may be the deciding factor.
I have a spotify family account that's paid through early march, so I'll move over before that comes up again.

It looks like Tidal has introduced Profiles, so you can follow people and make playlists public now, one feature that spotify did pretty well that Tidal never did. if anyone uses Tidal, I'm snowman on there.
