My friends think its weird and say that im pushing it a little early but for the last several years, i have decided that my summer officially starts May 1st and ends September 31st. Why Limit summer to just three months? Thats depressing. I'm celebrating by going to the beach for the weekend and do some biking Saturday, and by Monday its going to be 80 degrees, and i'll be out in the sand!

Not sure about the weather in Delaware but down here in AL.... our summer starts in May (already in the 80s during day) and it actually goes until October (most years)....
