I think I ask this every year, but is anyone doing the bull run on July 8?
I'll be in town for Roger Waters. Never witnessed or participated in a bull run, but we have one (probably much smaller) in Pensacola. What are the deets? We may be interested in checking it out.
There IS one in Pensacola, but I think it is in a couple months, right? The bullrun is July 8 (same day as Roger Waters) and starts promptly at 8am. The run is over by 9am and most are shit-faced by 10am. Since I am a bull and not a runner, I usually get home around 3pm and nap.
There are all sorts of other events all weekend long, you can go to nolabulls.com to get the information on the other events if you are interested.
Broke down and bought cheap seats for the Jay-Z show via Tidal Presale. Sec 309 Row 17 seats 1-2. I think they are the furthest seats away from the stage but they were "only" $54.55/apiece, including fees. Here's hoping November is slow enough that I can make the show on a Thursday, if not I bet I can dump the tickets pretty easily.

GRiZ has added a date at the Orpheum Theater on November 1. I saw some of the Camp Bisco show, and it was pretty cool. There was a lot of peace and love imagery, particularly a point where he used corporate logos for major companies and replaced their names with Freedom, Peace, Love, etc. Haha. I thought it was great. Now that he's out, there was plenty of pro-people and pro-gay (rainbow flag) imagery as well. Good for him. Love thy neighbor. Let somebody else judge some mfers.
