So what do y'all think of season two so far?
The things I was recently complaining about regarding season one in the Now Watching thread seem to have all been addressed. Tandy is now more of a human being and less of a horny idiot. And I like that while Carol is still Carol, she has definitely loosened up some, as indicated right away by her using the Phil method of gaining entrance to a store in the first scene of episode one. I think the show wants us to note how couples can compromise in a relationship and in doing so become slightly more like each other. Tandy is less selfish, Carol less uptight, and they both seem happier as a result.
But Tandy isn't perfect by any means, as he hides the note from the group from Carol, but in that situation it was completely understandable. Selfish, sure, but its something I could see myself doing in similar circumstances. I wouldn't be proud of it but I understand where Tandy is coming from.
I also like how the show is better using the set and setting to its advantage this season. For example, my heart broke when Tandy accidentally left Carol at the gas station, when it slowly dawned on me that they have absolutely no way to get in touch with each other, and how crazy it would be to lose somebody like that in a world where there are only several people left alive (as far as we know).
Sudeikis up in space is also breaking my heart, when his little worm friend died I was so sad. I'm chomping at the bit for him to come down to earth, not sure if this is a story line they'll let ride for the rest of the season or if he's coming down soon.
Ferrel popping up at the end was delightful (also love that they are singing Informer around the camp fire) as its always great to see him. It would be funny if he died from that heart attack on thats the last we see of him, but I would rather them use that character a bit more.
To sum up I'm really stoked about how the show is going! Thinking this season will be a fun ride.
Just watched the new episode. This show kind of stresses me out, but in a good way. I would like to see something happen without Phil self-sabotishing, but it was a good episode all around.

It really is the most stressful show sometimes. You reeeaally have to revel in the minor victories whenever they come along. That being said I'm liking this season better than last. I think they have steered away (slightly) from the Phil is a total douche humor which helps a lot. I always really look forward to Fox on Sundays with Last Man on Earth, Brooklyn 99 and Bob's Burgers.
