Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'd rather have Courtney Barnett take up both slots.
Charli XCX is incredibly boring w limited vocal talent. Essentially just a DJ playing tracks w her running around. Could compare her to Grimes except Grimes produces all her own music, has dancers and will play during her show.
idk man id check it out depending on what shes up against. no worse then tove lo, halsey, mo, zella day, ect..
and are we really comparing Grimes live to anyone? girl sounded like a trainwreck.

Of course. I know you weren't talking them up. Btw, text me that address so I can run the shipping and get you the number.
I've pretty much exhausted the performers I want to see on the countdown. Thought maybe I would find a surprise but, not so far. I would rather sit by the pool with a boom box than listen to lot of this lineup. But hey, I bought a ticket and looking forward to seeing friends so...28 or 27, or 15 more days til heading south.

Fun facts for you all: that Barns Courtney video looks like it's filmed at two super random desert locations out here. The first is Dateland which is this random truck stop/date farm near the Arizona/Cali border. You can buy pretty much anything you want made of dates there including milk shakes and the rows and rows of date palms are pretty cool. All in the middle of nowhere desert.
The second and even weirder is the Salton Sea. Worth a Google because that shit is extra weird. He's at Bombay Beach which is pretty much the weirdest place I've ever been. If any of you ever toad trip it out here for whatever reason both are worth a stop.
I wasn't at any of those listed acts so yeah she is def on par. I think Grimes exhausted herself on that tour. I had fun n enjoy her weird ass music but yeah there's a lot more I'd take over her.

Hail Lizzo.
Fuck yea gotta love Lizzo! Was happy to see her again mainstage at acl. She deserves all the fame.

Hey, Sparky. You've probably already said this and I just missed it cause I've been such a loser trying to keep up this year. When are you planning on coming down? I'm assuming Thursday, but wanted to check and make sure.
Agreed. While I normally abide by this principle, I've determined that Alabama in particular will no longer receive any tourism or other business from me indefinitely. There are plenty of other progressive states with great music festivals and other attractions where I'd rather give my patronage.
This is no reflection whatsoever on my friends and other fine folk of Inforoo who reside in Alabama or decide to attend Hangout. I'm simply making a decision to not provide financial support towards Alabama's status quo.
lol didn't I sell you a hangout pass a few years back sir?
We probably did meet when I went in 2015, albeit I'm having difficulty pinning your Inforoo handle to real name (sorry!). Due to reasons it will unfortunately be the last time I'll visit Alabama (and a few other states) for the foreseeable future. I gave it a shot and left experiencing the truly dark and malevolent culture (adopted by many residents but with a fair number of individual exceptions) behind the joyful/carefree veneer Hangout presents. I'll leave it at that. To be fair, Bonnaroo is guilty of this too to an extent.

I'll be at both. I know everyone's main opinion of 21 Pilots but what about Lewis Del Mar? I've been enjoying them a lot!

TØP gets a good bit of hate on this site for not being considered headliner status and for making "corny" music but PLEASE give them a chance live if you haven't seen them. Such great performers that can be appreciated whether you like the music or not.

I think they're decent but it is the headliner status that is crunchy. I will give em a chance but it does suck that we could have had a different headliner like the Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, Kendrick, ect. Similars feelings arise with bands like Imagine Dragons, Bastille, ect. They are good bands but they don't have headliner catalogs, production or presence. Has 21P earned headliner status? Yes. 2016 they tore apart the billboards. It still leaves much to be desired especially from the older than 25 crowd. Musically, they are still a drummer and singer/pianist playing to varying backing tracks which really doesn't translate well to a live setting especially when you are a rock band. Full bands, even when hidden elsewhere, lead to a better, more connect, more powerful show.
Ironically enough, when Mutemath joined them for TOPxMM, a lot of comments from fans were that they enjoyed the MM produced tracks/remixes than the originals. I do hope they collaborate on this. I hope they crush it and we agree they're worthwhile to see.
Edit: I give 'em credit for trying to curtail their rabid fan base though aka "skeleton clique" or whatever. They seem like good people and if Paul Meaney and Darren King of Mutemath approve of them then I can rely on that.

I totally understand where you're coming from. And that's interesting about Mutemath, I would love a Hangout collab!
