Unless they can bring folks back from the grave, I will pass on Skynyrd. I am a big fan of guitar players and bands that feature excellent guitar players so John Mayer would be high on my list of 2017 performers. TTB with Derek Trucks would be another. I'm sure you folks also know some excellent guitar feature bands. Also good with saxophones and horn sections backing bands. DJs bore the heck out of me. Just because it is loud, doesn't mean it is good. Lenny Kravitz was an example of an excellent featured guitar band.

Skynyrd was a joke but they are actually a pretty good live show. Caught them at Louder Than Life Fest last year and was impressed with the set....except that they came out for a 13 minute Free Bird encore (they were not even a subheadliner) and cut into the next band's time slot. Dick move for a band on third from last to go over their time and then take an encore.

They canceled this year at Artpark. Funny thing was they were filling in for Tears for Fears, who canceled their tour.

My girlfriend had like 8 tickets for that show. They refunded the ticket price but not the fees. She was pissed but they gave tickets to some of their undersold shows as well. I'm not sure if she even used them.

Speaking of willie. Great show he put on at Acl. But Matthew McConaughey stole that damn show. Alright, alright, alright!
I stayed for half a song because it was a nightmare and hot as fuck. Least where I was. People being knocked around everywhere just trying to get places.

Ok kids. I saw Moby on Sunday night and will for suRe be adoing this ti my top 10 shows of the yeAR list. Dude was awesome. Had this amazing singer for all those old school sample parts plus he really went for it on the bongos a couple times. Excellent show. I forgot just how many Moby bangers there are.

DJ Snake apparently showed on Bands in Town as playing Gulf Shores on 5/21 per a screen capture that is on Twitter. It apparently has been taken off. No idea who/what this that is but someone may like the info.
Edit: A little research seems to say this may be one of the bigger tent acts? He is billed above Krewella at recent shows and Krewella "closed" the tent Sunday (6pm set) in 2015. He is also headlining Saturday of Freaky Deaky in Chicago along with Disclosure and Tiesto.

Snake makes sense given the recent bookings of Hangout. Either Flume/Krewella/Zedd spot as Sunday closer or possibly in the tent vs a Rock/Pop/Alt HLer.
Zen is the new redisni. Although, I think redisni knows more about Roo this year than Zen knows about Hangout. Because it's more likely that Radiohead will be at Roo this year than guitars being a description of a Hangout headliner in 2017.
