how u gonna have Fuller House without Michelle..........I mean come on, the star of the original series, but we will never see her or anything.....yeah that's believable.
I liked the first episode. It was so wonderfully corny and really had me feeling the nostalgia. I've watched episodes 2 &3 and I'm not sure how I feel about it now.
A friend of mine made a very long, very thought out FB post about Full House and how it was a show that took place in a city where an average of 190 men died every single day of AIDS during the years it aired, and they never once addressed it. They made a very good argument for how egregious it was, and that as a family with 3 grown men who all worked in the entertainment industry, that it would've been literally impossible for them to not have been attending multiple funerals every month.
The first episode was great from a nostalgia point of view. And I didn't realize I still know every word to "Forever" by Jessie and The Rippers. After the first episode, it's become diminishing returns for me. My wife loves it though.

Lol, I realized I still know every word too. So weird what stays with you. I feel like I'm leaning more towards your side. As it conitinues I think it looses the charm that the original show and 1st episode had. I do like that they seem to make the focus more so about the girls rather than soley on the kids at least. I only watched one episode of Girl Meets World and felt none of that. They structured it very much like "modern day kids sitcoms" rather than the way Boy Meets World was structured. So I had hope for Fuller House, but I think they're going the same direction Girl Meets World did now.
I was hoping someone had made a dent in the series and could tell me if it redeems itself before I continue watching. I wanted so badly for this to be great.

Fucked up, yo.
Thanks for your input on whether Fuller House is any good or not?
We're only through episode 4, so I don't know that answer yet glowbaby. I did see it got renewed for a 2nd season, which I was a little surprised about.

I've been slacking. Only made it through two episodes thus far... but I'm also watching exclusively by myself (while sharing a house with disinterested girlfriend & her son) and viewing with drinking rules.
I further suspect I made more than enough Fuller House drinking rules.

Care to share
Started out before viewing with: Laugh track "Awwww" Group hug Danny Tanner cleans Uncle Jesse sings Uncle Joey has a puppet "Have mercy" "You got it, dude" "Cut it out" "How rude" References to Michelle
And I added "Spanish spoken" about halfway through episode one.

Jesus. Those are some solid rules. I'm sure after two episodes you'd be pretty drunk. That's like a drink a minute. Lol
