TLOP, TurboGrafx, Cruel Winter, Drake collab album... Kanye's about to make 2016 the GOAT
"I have a three piece series; a book, an album, and a movie that I have orchestrated with Quavo that we will be releasing within the year" - Kanye West
You folks are putting wayyyy too much hip hop/ R&B in your mocks. Go look at previous years and you'll realize how little of it Bonnaroo books.
good point, but i would think bonnaroo would make an effort to book more hip-hop than usual for 2017. obviously there were a lot of lineup factors that went into low attendance for 2016, but you can make a case that lack of hip-hop was one of them.

There's no way they do a top 6 without EDM in it after this past year. Kygo, major lazer, or jack u is taking a spot.
Or Flume or Disclosure (if they can figure something out with their fest thing)
Having seen the crowd at his Lolla set, Flume would absolutely be on the second line. His crowd dominated the South field...as in literally filled it to capacity.

I really enjoyed it too. I personally would love to see them again at roo.

I thought his 2014 set was marginally better.
It was also in front of like 5k people in the Grove so IDK. I'd go see him again if I got to chill in the disability section (which was great. I got to sit and rest before LCD).

Exactly, I've been saying that the new album/tour would put him on that level since last year. He could easily play LN Which or a late pre-HL slot like Zedd/Earth, Wind, & Fire.
Edit: I say he gets booked 5-8 (maybeeee 10th but I doubt)
Went to see Coldplay last night in Buffalo and they mentioned how about 60% of the crowd was from Canada. They apologized for no Canadian tour dates but did mention they'll be back in North America next summer for some festivals and Canadian dates.

Speaking of which....
is there anything like this at Roo? It was a raised platform that had chairs and a ramp so that people with access passes (and a companion) could sit and enjoy the show without too much exertion.
I know that there's like an accessible camping area but I haven't heard anything of this sort and it'd be a fucking godsend.

Yep, at all of the tents (dead center and toward the middle/back of the tent) and even at the What stage. Though, I'm not sure about seating at the Which.
This is how you sell out a festival, plenty of legacy acts as well as stuff for the kids. I would also throw in a Sturgill late night or superjam
It'd take a long time for me to get used to looking at Justin Timberlake and Tool booked right next to each other. This would actually be a year I cared about none of the headliners. I'd still go to see Chance the Rapper and Justice, assuming there'd also be more in that undercard I'd be into. But as far as headliners go I'd probably only check out Justin Timberlake out of curiosity. Speaking of which, is he even that relevant right now? The last big song I remember from him was Suit & Tie, and I don't think he's been touring much. So besides the fact that he'd be super expensive to book and he never does festivals, the chances of him being booked seem like pretty much zero.
For the Lolla goers out there, how was Radiohead's crowd(size)? Did it change at 9 pm as other headliners started? Radiohead is a big "get" in festival circles, but do they still have that mass appeal? Is Radiohead 2017 better than Pearl Jam 2016 in terms of drawing power?
Sadly, Coldplay would out draw the both of them, and with CP not headlining Roo before, you know it's only a matter of time.

Pearl Jam's crowd was pretty big at Bonnaroo, well at least compared to LCD Soundsystem and Dead & Company.
