Also jabrill peppers is definitely talented but he is so overhyped. I didn't think he belonged as a nagurski finalist, let alone the Heisman.
He shouldn't even have won Big 10 Defensive POY. His first career interception was against Ohio State this year. FIRST CAREER!!! Malik Hooker has 3 pick 6's just this year... Peppers is the most overrated/overhyped player of the past 10 years. Michigan fans are just depserate to try and make a comparison to Woodson who was 10x the player Peppers is.

New reports are that Houston is hiring Major Applewhite. That's another surprising one. Also, as potent suggested the other day, USF is supposedly finalizing a deal with Strong.

Army beat Navy for the first time in 15 years. Army's qb threw for TWO completions. Navy had 26 total rushing attempts between three dudes, Army's Andy Davidson had 28.
lol i played against Baker Mayfield in middle school. Hudson Bend MS vs Lake Travis MS 2007. Almost sacked him too. I never liked the dude, total dbag. He had all the girls that i wanted lmao. Now im drunk in a dark room watching him finish 3rd in the Heisman voting so who's the real winner??
Lane Kiffin officially hired by FAU. Will still coach with Bama in the playoffs.
The list of Florida coaches is insane now; Kiffin (FAU), Charlie Strong (USF), Joe McElwain (UF), Jimbo Fisher (FSU), Butch Davis (FIU), Mark Richt (The U), and former Chip/Helfrich OC at Oregon Scott Frost (UCF).

1. Jimbo 2. Richt 3. Butch 4. McElwain 5. Charlie 6. Kiffin 7. Frost
I think Charlie could move up substantially as now he has the benefit of coaching Louisville without having to convince Florida kids to live in Louisville. Also think McElwain could go either way. Frost has a high ceiling, just inexperienced.
I don't understand the move by Kiffin. What can he possibly get out of this? I mean, even if he wins there, will anyone care?
Dan Wolken from USA Today wrote an article explaining it today. Basically, Kiffin was desperate to be a head coach and thought 'bama would rehab his image. To sum up Wolken's reporting, it did not. Calls to Tennessee and SC for job references made him toxic. He doesn't have a great relationship with Saban- who does - and was not going to be renewed this year.

I was thinking along these lines as well. I read somewhere that Kiffin lost the Houston job in the interview, so I'm assuming there was something there they just didn't like. This is a program that hasn't won more than six games since 2008 and has only had a team since 2001. If anything, people are talking about their program for the first time possibly ever.

I live in Florida and enjoy Saturdays, in the Fall, in front of the TV, I was not aware FAU has a football team.
Florida's DC Collins is reportedly going to be Temple's new coach. Sorry Scrog .
Pitt's OC Canada is the new trendy rumor for LSU's OC job. How mad will you be, potentpotables ?
Our fans have been melting down about this for the last 48 hours. It is what it is to me. LSU pays Aranda the highest coordinator salary in the land at $1.8 million; if they come close for Canada, should we be paying $1.5 million, top 5 OC money? Probably not.
I think Narduzzi will be pissed because he talks about loyalty all the time (and obviously spent so many years with Mark Dantonio as his right hand man) and that was stressed when Chaney left for Georgia last year.
Also, we beat WVU in 2007 so LSU could make the title game and beat OSU. They couldn't do a solid in return?

Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh earlier this week told his players that rumors about his potential return to the NFL were nothing more than "lies made up by our enemies."

Also, former 5 Star QB recruit and one time SC Trojan starting QB this year, Max Browne, just committed to Pitt, will enroll in January and be eligible immediately as a grad transfer. One year to play. Makes the QB situation much better for 2017.

What do to you think about Canada saying Pitt did all they could to keep him? I mean, I understand it's all about money, but how often does someone admit it that openly?
