Charles Bradley is great!! Otherwise......meh? Finances dictate that my summer will be fest lite. I'll wait on additions before I think about a day pass.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
Not to my tastes, but last year was practically my dream lineup, so there was nowhere to go but down. Charles Bradley is always nice, Basia Bulat's new album is great and I look forward to seeing her, and Jason Collett will kill it with Zeus. And Santigold -- what a party that will be!! The headliners leave a bit to be desired but I'll go in with an open mind. I love music festivals at Fort York so this would have to be supremely godawful for me not to attend.
FWIW there were passes going for diiiiiirt cheap a few weeks before the festival last year. Got a weekend pass for my friends at $60 a pop. Think I'll go that route once again.

Definitely agree the headliners are nothing special but there's enough on there that I'll go and have a great time. Field Trip is the best run festival at Fort York so the experience alone makes it worth it. Bands worth checking out are July Talk, Santigold, Boy and Bear, Dear Rogue, Charles Bradley, Plants and Animals, Tor Miller, Brave Shores and Ra Ra Riot. Looking forward to it!
