Picking up where The Life Is Good Festival left off in 2013, Boston-area healthy fast-food chain B. Good has launched Festival At The Farm, with their first one-day event on Saturday, July 30 at Prouse Farm, the former Life Is Good site.
Like the early Life Is Good editions, there's more of a jazzy jammy vibe than a rock & roll thing, but any new festival action in the area is very welcome.
Although their site doesn't yet list this information, a festival representative confirmed to me on Twitter that they will be making the festival accessible via public transportation. My best guess is that they'll run a shuttle from the nearby commuter rail station, just like Life Is Good did.

While Life Is Good worked with festival vets Superfly Productions, the company running this event is the newly-formed local company Six Chair Productions, LLC.
Best of all, like Life Is Good, Festival At The Farm will be donating proceeds to charity.

I LOVED Life Is Good Fest. I hope this festival continues to grow but I was really hoping for a LIG resurgence. It was pretty cool that you had to earn VIP tickets by raising money for their foundation. The fest was so well organized too!
