I am not sure that we are indeed getting new bathrooms this year. If you read the standard verbiage on the VIP Ticket information page (http://www.bonnaroo.com/tickets) it just states: special shower and restroom facilities with attendants. I am fine with the trailer bathrooms and attendants. The bathrooms were always clean and I never had to wait in a line (except once and that is because I am dumb and didn't walk over to another set of bathrooms). I just hope that the continued construction won't fuck with lineups moving forward. I know, I am a dreamer.
Yep, the trailers were in the worst shape I've ever seen them. AC not working, toilets clogged and generally dirtier. The blew it on the VIP bathrooms this year.
The second set along the back fence were the worst. Apparently one of the female cleaners quit on Saturday. It was so gross smelling in there until Sunday morning, when the guy cleaner finally cleaned it up. He bitched about the girl that quit the whole time.

Out of 11 straight Bonnaroos, this was my 9th straight time going VIP. As with those previous ones, I had an overall great experience. - It was easy to drive in, as always. - The proximity to Centeroo was great, as always, save for the asinine elimination of the entrance near the VIP hill at What. - I enjoyed being able to breeze in and out of Centeroo each and every day. - The VIP tents, particularity the one near the Which stage, were godsends during the heat of the day. - My friends enjoyed easy access, via their VIP wristbands, to the Comedy tent all weekend long. - The VIP area at Which continued to be stellar, and the hill at What was great for late afternoon/nighttime shows. Still, I had some concerns, and I find it beyond odious that Bonnaroo can't address them. - Why the f$#% can't they add more bathrooms in the VIP camping area. One morning I had to do a No. 2, and I almost went beside the fence after standing in a crazy-ass line for 30-plus minutes at the main bathroom complex on top the hill. Yes, they said some of the bathrooms were broken, but that's inexcusable. This is a problem every year, yet they appear unable to address it. When most people have to use the bathroom, they have to use the bathroom. They can't wait 30 minutes. - As someone previously mentioned, why can't they make the VIP tents cooler. I know it was hot, but it literally felt like there was no cold air being pumped into the tents. I'll likely still go VIP again in the future, but it would be nice if they address some of the issues.
i guess Bonnaroo figures that people that are willing to pay for VIP dont' really care about the money, so they are trying to justify the huge ticket bump for GA tickets by adding value? i've been GA regular once, VIP twice, and GA groop three times. the bathroom and shower situation for groop actually surpassed the VIP this year for me. with the flushing toilets and permanent showers, plus the glade and the coffee barn. i want to go VIP next year, but i can't justify the cost if its going to be the same old situation
