Trying to keep it 50/50 shit that would get me back and shit we know GV will bring.
Arcade Fire the universal indie rock act (Mumford) Imagine Dragons being up and coming headliner (21P) (hopefully this doesn't happen) Lana Del Rey just seems like she's destined for this shit Lorde/Future both would fit that #4 honestly.
2017 went down pretty well for me. As long as they keep bringing a solid undercard and offering something other than hip hop, EDM, and rap, I'm in. Watched that huge crowd for Migos at Lollla yesteday. Ok with me. I thought it was a terrible show. Offering someone like Jason Isbell, Judah and the Lion, Dwight Holcomb, Head and the Heart, Band of Horses, and many more as an alternative for folks who share my tastes in music makes Hangout work pretty well. Definitely could have used more rock, soul, and bluegrass this year. Maybe next year.
That is why they call it lollapeeponmypantslooza correct? I will pass on Chicago or Lolla. Have fun.
Pickathon appears to be pretty cool. Not sure why you have to put balloons up in the trees in a beautiful and natural forest, but better than getting pee'd on I guess. Many thanks to esteban for the link. I wish I could stay up as late as I used too.

Yeah. I clicked over to Jonathan Richman* for a couple minutes but couldn't get a good feed out the PS4. Im chilling back today and will watch Gramatik, Royal Blood alt-j and some of Head and Heart later. I have San Holo on in the background. He's playing here tonight and my daughter wants me to go. I last saw him in person at Buku in March. But I only somewhat liked the Bonnaroo show and hated Tomorrowland. I'm not real fond of this show either except in very small parts. So I'm leaning against even if he's liable to do a more radical show at Republic.

10-4, Had some friends at work go I think Friday or Saturday? I was listening to their rave reviews all morning. I took it with a grain of salt though because I don't get the feeling that they get out much. Glad to hear it was good.
Mean Old Wind Die Down and their live stuff like Bonnaroo is superb. They played with just two of them in like 2011 and we're ok. The Word in I think 2015 for pre-party was really good. Opening for TTB on a beach stage with full band would be epic and lock down 2018 for me. The Arcade Fire, Lorde, and Imagine Dragons would fit the demo, but MMJ, NMA, AND TTB wild be over the top for me. Also would trade Sturgill for Nathaniel Ratliffe.
I'm good with HOF signing EDM, hip hop, rapsters, and typical GV stuff, but signing some jammy rock, blues-alt, folk-alt, Americana, and alt-rock brings me back
I am feeling very humble this morning. I named a thread on Inforoo. Shazzam!
There is so much music going on in Nashville and vicinity that I just do not have the time and money to do it all and I am freaking retired. Life is great...free stuff too!
So Lolla was a blast for just the Thursday I went. Sounds like there were ups and downs like any other festival of that size but I thought they did a decent job (at least on Thursday) of keeping certain acts on certain parts of the park. I didn't leave the south field the whole day and saw Liam (for all 4 songs lol), grabbed a close spot for Cage which was INSANELY good, then Spoon, and then Muse (which was about to be an absolute all timer before they called it because of the storm). I've seen Cage 4 times now and that blew every other time out of the water. The rain added a ton to the beginning of that Muse set and everyone around me was jumpin around and rockin out hard till they had to call it.
Lolla's always gonna be a no brainer for me given the location. Plus we always know people who work the beer tents and get hooked up like crazy. I think I spent $20 on Thursday, it was a joke. Hopefully next year I can avoid a fuckin wedding that weekend and I can actually go everyday for the first time since 2014.
Side note: we're only like 3.5 months away from Hangout's 2018 lineup drop so that's kind of nice.
krisplettuce - Your a Man Man fan I think? Lead singer has another pretty fun band named after him (Honus Honus):
Also, for any newly appointed Mutemath fans from this year's set. Their killer drummer, Darren King, has left the group. As a long time fan this is huge, especially that they lost their other founding member Roy. Theb and is continuing on for now through their next tour and album cycle, but after that who knows down to one original member, the singer Paul.

1. man man is fucking awesome. 2.im checking out honus honus right away! 3. that's terrible news for mutemath but makes getting to see his drum off vs that 21p guy in a thunder storm guy even more special.

Is that the 4th one? I haven't really followed them much after Backatown which was the first. I listened to the second one a few times, but it was "songy" and "R&B'y" for my liking with some good jazz, funk and Supafunkrock. But I had to skip too much stuff. I probably should pay more attention. I haven't seen them in a while, but I do occasionally run into Pete Murano on the streets.
Didn't end up goin to Sunday at Lolla but then Arcade Fire just went ahead and added a United Center show October 30th. Schwing. Got 4 floor seats, ready to fuck.
