Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
As some of you may have been around for, my dad passed away during Roo 2015... Some nice Inforooers helped pack JR up on Friday (thank you!) so we could take care of things. I haven't REALLY gotten back into running since... (I've continued the occasional runs... just not getting into the zone)... But I'm hoping to. I miss my long runs!
This past fall, I ran 3x a week with my son and did a 5k with him... He was in the Let Me Run program and LOVED it. His coach needs an assistant coach for spring and reached out to me... I just signed up! Nervous and excited! It's an awesome program.
I would highly recommend anyone with kids to look into Let Me Run or Girls on the Run. Both my kids were in these programs and they're so positive and not competitive... (Well, the boys' 5k was pretty fierce! My 9 year old finished at an 8'41" pace and wasn't the quickest in his group)...
Here's to volunteering my time for a good cause... and hoping it kicks me in the rear end to leap back into things!

Just wanted to drop in and bitch about the lack of sidewalks, bike lanes, or even shoulders in my area. It makes my long runs pretty homogenous so I can run places that are more safe.

I live in an older neighborhood and so the sidewalks are random and just end. I feel your pain. For my long runs, we have a lot of running trails so I will go to one of those if my mileage is over 4 miles. The scenery is better, too. I can zone out and not focus on my surroundings as much. Do you have any close by? I drive 30 minutes to a running trail on Saturdays lol

I'm super thankful to have the greenway here in Nashville to run on, only about 3 miles from my house. However, I do my long run there at least 3 times a month. It gets a little boring sometimes, and they are always out and backs (I prefer loops). Once the sun starts setting later I'm going to refocus towards more trail running. Pretty excited about that.

We bought in the neighborhood we did because there's sidewalks everywhere. (Makes it easy to just step out the door and go).
Side note... I just bought a new pair of Brooks Glycerins. Have had the 11s, 12s and now the 14s. (Amazon has an awesome black/green color for the ladies who hate girly colors like me)! 12s still have some life left. Plan to use those coaching and running with the boys in Let Me Run... Gonna take the 14s on their first rodeo soon!

Did a marathon this morning just as hot season hits full force here in Thailand. Hot as FUCK but managed a respectable time. Hoping to break 3:00 (Hello Boston) by the end of 2017.

You rock! I've only done a half marathon. I mostly just enjoy running with myself through our neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods.
