It needs to be said: Mountain Bike is worthy of everyone's time here. It's going to be another wildly underappreciated album this year. As I've mentioned in NPD, it's like Mac DeMarco meets Wavves meets Car Seat Headrest and on my fourth listen, it seems continually accurate.

You had me at Mac DeMarco. I'll listen to it now. I edited my February Top Ten to include Anna Wise (see below). The opening single "Coconuts" is pretty great, the rest of the first half of the album is good, but the second half starting with "Self on Fire" until the end it really takes off. Both The Feminine: Act I and this album The Feminine: Act II are short (16 minutes and 31 minutes, respectively) and worth a listen. Sorry if this is slightly off topic to March's albums.
My February winner: Lowly - Heba Favorite tracks: "Stubborn Day" - "Mornings" - "Still Life" - "No Hands" - "Look at the Sun" - "Deer Eyes"
2. Anna Wise - The Feminine: Act II - "Coconuts" - "On the Highway" - "Balance in All" - "Self on Fire" 3. Ryan Adams - Prisoner - "Do You Still Love Me?" - "Shiver and Shake" - "Anything I Say to You Now" 4. Sampha - Process - "Blood on Me" - "Reverse Faults" - "Plastic 100'C" 5. Teen Daze - Themes for Dying Earth - "Cycle" - "Lost" - "First Rain" 6. Bing & Ruth - No Home of the Mind - It deserves a front to back meditative listen. Either you hate it, or you get lost entirely. 7. Maggie Rogers - Now That the Light is Fading EP - "On + Off" - "Alaska" - "Better" 8. Animal Collective - The Painters EP - "Jimmy Mack" - "Kinda Bonkers" 9. Big Sean - I Decided. - "No Favors" - "Halfway Off the Balcony" - "Light" 10. Dirty Projectors - Dirty Projectors - "Death Spiral" - "Ascent Through Clouds"

It doesn't hurt to discover him during a time in your life when you are in a tumultuous relationship, are pretty much drunk all the time, and for some reason you think your whole situation is romantic and cool. Then it's an easy step from romanticism > comedic existentialism which is how you get really into Ween.
