The new Pallbearer and Craig Finn albums are both pretty solid. I also like the Mountain Bike, Sorority Noise, and Spoon albums from earlier this month. I'll need to revisit all of them at some point.
The debut self-titled LP by producer Kelly Lee Owens is pretty awesome. Has a pretty solid feature from Jenny Hval called "Anxi.", a fantastic dance tune in "Evolution", some electro pop songs, and some that are a little more avant garde.
Edit: after a few more listens, this album actually sounds like what a Jenny Hval dance album would sound like. If you're a fan of Jenny, give this album a spin.

Listened to Mount Eerie last night. It was very emotional. Hard not to be when you're married with two young kids. It's pretty commendable for Phil Elverum to so publicly document his grieving like that. It's not really a great album, it's just such a powerful one.

I'm enjoying the new Spoon and Mount Eerie as much as the next guy, but what are people's thoughts on the new Tennis? Give or take a Jamiroquai I'd say that's my frontrunner for the month

Tennis is really good. Spoon was going to be vote until I just started listening to Pallbearer. Pretty sure it's going to get my vote.
With all due respect to Mount Eerie, which I'm sure put out a great record that I don't think I can bring myself to listen to right now or in the foreseeable future.

You need to listen to Pallbearer, if you haven't already.

I'm sure I was just slacking and not paying attention at the beginning of March but I feel like there's suddenly a million things I need to listen to.
In the last 24 hours I've listened to Yaeji, Octo Octa, and Pontiak and they were all very good. This will be another tough month.
Up next... Jamiroquai and Jay Som.
I've been listening to stuff from peoples greatest albums list, so I've fallen behind in new music.
but that pontiak is solid. I also really liked chicano batman, forgot that came out this month. I really like valerie june, spoon and grandaddy too, but Kelly lee owens probably winning for now, I keep going back to that one.
still need to check out haushka, jamiroquai, orchestra baobab, and freddie gibbs, but he can be kinda eh.
I have no idea who I'm going to vote for this month, and I'm pretty sure I've listened to more albums released this month than I did in January or February. hmm.

what is yaeji?
Honestly, no idea. Pitchfork reviewed it yesterday so I check it out and really liked it. It's just house music with her vocals featured pretty heavily. Much more downtempo than, say, Disclosure.
Here's one of her songs:
That was my first venture into Pontiak and I thought it was super good. I'm definitely going to listen to the rest of their stuff.
I've been blasting Jamiroquai this morning and really like it. I still want to check Aimee Man, Chaz Bundick, Freddie Gibbs, Jay Som, Goldfrapp, Pile, Hooray for the Riff Raff, Jesus and Mary Chain, Laetitia Sadier, Mount Eerie, Laura Marling, and Tennis. And I want to revisit Spoon, Blanck Mass, and Soulwax. So... going to be a busy and diverse end of the month.
Kelly Lee Owens is probably leading for me too but that's just because it's one of the only albums I've listened to more than once this month. We'll see if she runs this current gauntlet I've set up for myself haha.

10goldbees the other pontiak albums are a bit different, more punk influenced than the sorta psych route they went this time, but they are still pretty great.
