also, it's interesting that every other set has gotten the "well crowds are bad, what were they supposed to do" excuse, but it's somehow different and it's migos fault this crowd sucks?
Haven't watched their Coachella set but Migos are pretty bad about rapping over their own vocals and having no stage presence.
maybe, this crowd seems way more hyped than what I saw at tylers though. haven't gotten to the part where they were boo'd yet, but from what I've seen so far everyone's pretty into it.
just in general though, if the crowds are bad at shows like Tyler and Vince, of course theyd be bored at Migos, like what are they even looking for?

i think it's because migos has gained a reputation as being a bad live act, so the people that have been saying this for a while are piling on as the idea gains wider acceptance.
i've only watched one video of migos at another festival, it was pretty underwhelming. but quality live hip-hop is very difficult to pull off.

i mean the lolla one seemed worse than this tbh. maybe if they weren't so overbooked it wouldn't be such a problem, but yeah seems more like it's just thing to talk shit about.
more people seem to think they're the #1 group in the world than people clapped for anything JMJ did, just by audience applause.
i also thought Post was worse than this. blackbear was pretty lame too. also there was some cheese edm dude in a full adidas track suit looking like he just came from a Trump meeting that was pretty bad. I'd rather see this migos set than those, again though maybe if they weren't as highly billed it wouldn't be as glaring an issue.
I had a feeling it might have gone out around Noon PT
Missed a few things, mostly Friday. Feel like I caught a lot I wanted to though. And I know a few sets are still getting played on Sirius. Kygo and the Weeknd a lot.

do they stream the audio from the whole show or just bits?

At times they've been playing full sets, but I haven't seen a schedule as to when what plays. I do know they played full sets for The Weekend, Kygo, David Byrne, and St. Vincent today.
They've also played highlights and interviews on Channel 29, as well as random songs (album, not live cuts) by people on the lineup.

Couldn't log into my account from home yesterday, so a bit late with this comment.
Cardi B.... I just don't. get. it.
I can "get" Cardi B a lot easier than I can "get" Migos and Post Malone. She's entertaining and has a good flow.
I certainly don't get Migos or Post Malone, either. But I feel like there's something I'm missing about Cardi B. A lot of the people/sources I look to for good music recommendations praise her and that's what I can't understand.

She does mostly trap-styled/inspired stuff, so if you don’t like trap or themes that go with it, it’s tough to get or like. I felt like it was a redemption set vs what I heard about Day for Night (was at something else). Also she deserves credit for representing womanhood and power coming out pregnant and doing the show.
To finish out the weekend, I’d still give Beyonce top show though it wasn’t my favorite show as I said.

We successfully bullied esteban into ranking Beyonce first. Good job, team.
Lmao. It was what it was. I said I was done commenting on it which I did even in some spots if I bit my tongue. Suffice it to say that there are levels of disappointment, and finding some things to be disappointed by was never congruent with “that show sucked”, because it didn’t. It was giant.

Oh esteban, esteban, esteban. You couldn't help but to use this post to further your sick and sordid BEYONCE HATRED. Just because Queen Bey didn't perform last year due to her pregnancy doesn't make her any less of a woman. Nor does it make her COMPLETELY POWERLESS AND PROBABLY A DUDE as you so SICKLY CLAIM!!!!!! THAT IS A FACT, YOUNG MAN!!! I want you to say six Our Fathers and six hundred Hail Beys as penance. May God give our Queen the strength to not order your execution.

Whethan was the guy in the track suit I wouldnt see over Migos. We couldn't settle on whether his name was a bad play on Wheat Thin or if it was a portmanteau of White Ethan
GAB - I laughed. You already know that wasn’t even an afterthought, but your writing is a gift. Sometimes I read your catfish blog entries and sometimes I don’t even want to imagine what’s on the other end of some of those chats so I don’t. It’s like life becomes the movie Pink Flamingos.
