Wondering if (no)Malice skates by in the reunion doing just verses from their last album and the Kanye track. Of all the groups to say they they’d never get back together, I thought that’d be the one that stuck to it. He‘s already turned down a ton of money to reunite. He must have missed that feeling when they did the Sunday service show.

If you just gave me Push doing Clipse songs I'd be happy, but I can't see Malice doing his old verses after everything he's said. I'm just trying to hear shit like Comedy Central, Wamp Wamp, & Let's Talk About It and I'm willing to do whatever it goddamn takes.
Edit: the prospect of them playing Nightmares and Gangsta Lean with a live band has got me all worked up on the inside.
The fact that there's a healthy batch of artists that already played Coachella within the last two years (HER, Carti, Rico Nasty, Jaden, Tierra Whack, LANY, Migos, Kali Uchis, 070 Shake, 6lack), that alone made me say, "oh yeah, everyone on here is out".
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide
Does it matter that last year the lineup was announced in March I believe? Or still no because of location
It matters that they dropped this right now for sure. Since a nice chunk of acts played both, and it was due to them already being at coachella, and then just going east a week later. Now it puts those names up in the air for the prior weeks just cause theyre out there. but being in Virginia doesnt totally hurt though.
And yeah, the music is the end of the week, sorta south by southwest ish.
This list sounds like it’s been pretty much finalized:
To be fair all of those festival lineups have already been announced. I’m sure more dates will pop up. It’s a big miss by Paul if she isn’t booked. I’ll be the first to say that she was not my cup of tea a few years ago, but I personally think her newest album is great and I had a ton of fun at her local show a few months back.

I don't think this means anything for Coachella -- A) most artists, especially at that level, know not to announce they're playing Coachella; B) I'd be surprised if she only plays 11 shows next year regardless. The fewest she's done in a year since 2012 was 15 shows, and it hasn't even been six months since her album came out.
Is it me or are there a lot less confirmations and leaks this year than there have been in the past 3 to 4 years? I’m not even sure the source of the Frank Ocean or Travis Scott rumors and if they are just based on supposition or were actually spoken by someone in the know. We have something like 4 to 5 confirmations at this point? And there’s still the potential for some sort of big surprises or off-the-wall bookings.

I feel like we have a worst case scenario version of confirmations right now -- lots of stuff that feels confirmed, but could definitely be bullshit (a la Thom Yorke this year). Rage is a sure thing, but Frank, Travis, MCR, Thom, Chemical Bros are all big names I expect but also wouldn't shock me if we get to the lineup and they're missing. In the meantime because I'm expecting them, I won't have the "wow" factor that seeing them (well, minus Travis) for the first time on the poster might have.

I wouldnt worry about Thom or The Chems.
Im just glad that theres a lot of mystery for once. Let there be some genuine excitement for the release instead of going in with apparent certainty. Look at this year, it took a dome request and shredded vocal chords to throw everything into disarray. They stopped the leaks at least and sites like COS arent going to make bold line up statements since they cant get any intel for a change.
They could announce the line up on the 2nd or the 3rd and put it onsale the 4th if they want. Who cares if its a saturday onsale, everyone got paid on the 3rd.
It's been up for a while now. I figured everyone knew. Also it says expected, not confirmed like Rage does which makes me think they're just pulling this info off of inforoo/reddit.
