No Philly or NY date basically guarantees Tame will be at Firefly and Gov Ball. That quacking sucks
Why does that suck?
My personal finances and new job basically does not allow for me to attend any festivals this year. I would have been able to make a stand alone show since I missed last August. Also personally to me it is quite annoying when large cities get looped in to a festival that is particularly terrible (Firefly).

I don't really want to wade in on the "trippiness" debate, but with a new album (and assumedly fresh setlist) on the way, I can easily envision them paring it down to just Elephant and Feels Like We Only Go Backwards from the older albums, which if you're only into Innerspeaker/Lonerism could dampen excitement for their set considerably
(maybe Apocalypse Dreams too, idk. I like most of Currents fine so not too worried)
That reddit guy that claimed Beck and Pussy Riot is now saying LSDREAM, Bleachers and Turkuaz with a 1/14 lineup announcement.
that turkuaz talking heads set will be cool. if for no other reason than i'll be thrilled to see adrian belew perform live.
i don't know how LSDream is live but the record isn't bad as far as bass music goes. not really my thing but it's pretty chill and there are some good textures in the sound.
not a big Bleachers fan but i enjoyed them live last time they played bonnaroo.

In my dream world, the new album cuts just eat into Currents material track for track, or the set time increases in addition to eating some of the Currents fat. You are cutting into muscle by taking any more from the first two.
My ideal setlist would be something like...
17 total songs 4 out of Its Not Meant to Be, Alter Ego, Lucidity, Solitude is Bliss, Bold Arrow of Time, Why Won't you Make Up Your Mind All 5 of Apocalypse Dreams, Mind Mischief, Why Won't They Talk To Me, It Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, Elephant Only Let it Happen and Eventually from Currents (this is where I'm getting unrealistic). The obligatory 5 songs from Slow Rush Half Glass Full of Wine (into Elephant)
Their last song before the encore was a slightly more jammy version of Apocalypse Dreams that absolutely ranked on up there on the trippy-meter. They're going to be such a blast on What.
