The Candace Owen tweet makes me physically mad holy shit, what's her problem even. Yikes.
Pretty shitty situation honestly, I need to look more into it cause idk much about the situation and it's pretty interesting how those twats got ownership of her music in the first place.

Their response: “Taylor, the narrative you have created does not exist,” yet they rest of their statement doesn’t actually refute her specific claims.
Them having “ownership” of her music, as owners of her old record label, isn’t really that weird though. They licensed her masters, and the fact that the term is expiring soon means Taylor got a better deal than lots of other people do. And an agreement not to re-record isn’t unusual either. Restricting live performances, televised or otherwise, is a little odd to me, but my experience is in a vastly different world than the one Taylor lives in.

Yeah, but add the fact that this guy litteraly bought the whole label just to own her music (after the already beef in the past) is just a incredible. Okay, sure he owns the music of other people aswell but she - in particular - had already beef with him in the past and because of that she wanted to head out. Sure, re-recording isn't unusual but restricting her performance (televised or not)..? Seems like they didn't even want to negotiate that..
Most of the songs were released as singles, but if you haven't dug into Hannah Diamond before her debut album is pretty great from a pop song writing and production standpoint.
