Mamma Mia, it’s really happening. After 40 years, ABBA is back together. A new record is due out this November, and a U.K. concert is already planned for next May.
So… we’re officially calling first dibs. ABBA, take a chance on us and play Riot Fest 2022.
This is not a joke. We will do whatever it takes to make this a reality—and knowing me, knowing you, there is nothing we can’t do. If we succeed, we promise that we will make this thing the greatest concert in the history of live music. Sign our petition now and help us book the greatest band in existence.
Look, we’ve got money (money, money). And sure, Riot Mike is sitting upstairs furiously making phone calls right now, while ABBA Gold blasts through the office (also not a joke). But we need your help to get some Super Troupers on this and make everyone’s collective dreams come true. Sign the petition, tell your friends, and post everywhere you can that you want #ABBAforRiotFest.

Would be very cool if this wasn’t a hologram tour. It’ll also be so wildly expensive to book it.
Was obviously hoping for a schedule this week but I guess not! (Also, sorry, but I now feel deeply annoyed by everyone in the replies to this saying “well it doesn’t matter when the schedule comes out!” like in a cosmic sense it doesn’t but also it would be nice to know since I, like, paid money for this a year and a half ago.)
So I won two GA tickets for individual days for Thursday, Friday, and also Sunday collectively. If anyone would like tickets for one or multiple of the days they're yours or as long as you DM me your name and email address by tonight since the deadline technically is 6am tomorrow. My girlfriend won tickets to Saturday and Sunday and she's going to use the Saturday tickets, and I'm only going to use one of the Sunday tickets, so I guess one of those is also up for grabs if you're willing to meet me at the gate. Otherwise they're first come first serve, hope somebody here can use them.
Edit: I'll keep this tracker going so you know what's available, will cross off accordingly
- 2 Thursday GA tickets (name at will call) - 2 Friday GA tickets (name at will call) - 2 Sunday GA tickets (name at will call) - 1 Sunday GA ticket (have to meet stinky at the gate)
Yes, they are. They will have a new album out on Friday which is shaping up to be their best in a long while so you'll be the first to hear those songs live.
I have an extra for Friday if anyone is looking. Had someone drop out last minute. Will obviously sell at a discount given the last minute circumstances. Feel free to PM me or shoot me an email at zaj128@yahoo.com.
So Thrice is all right but I’m going to expand the request: I’d like some recommendations for anything between 1:30 and 6:00 on Friday (outside of Living Colour) and anything good early on Saturday (Man on Man is a new band by Roddy Bottum and their album was all right but I’m not sure if it’s worth it making it out early just for that). Schedule included below for reference.

smh @ the insinuation that I wasn’t planning on being at Big Freedia’s set already.
But thank you all for mentioning The Bronx, that’s the kind of thing I was looking for.
