Lineup release party at the Woodward this Thursday. Anyone going to it? I'm debating it right now.
No real rumors or anything that I've seen but I wouldn't be surprised if they finally got Blink and maybe Tame Impala since they're skipping Ohio on this tour
Upcoming Shows: 4/19 - Alvvays @ Bogart’s 4/21 - Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band @ Nationwide Arena 5/15 - They Might Be Giants @ Madison Theater 6/2 - Pigeons PPP/Andy Frasco/Dogs in a Pile @ MEGACORP Pavilion 6/5 - Pixies/Modest Mouse/Cat Power @ Andrew J. Brady Center 6/13-6/16 - Bonnaroo 7/25 - Foo Fighters @ Great American Ballpark 7/26 - Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew: Remain In Light @ Bogart's 8/4 - Phish @ Deer Creek
A shocking thing is that the Bunbury forum is the most active I know of for an American festival besides Inforoo.
As a Cincinnatian, it baffles me that Bunbury has such an active forum while Forecastle does not.
I seem to remember Bunbury actually promoting the forum on social media at one point, so that probably helped. But yeah, this festival has become an embarrassment, I really hope the city supports Homecoming.
Kinda crazy that the same people that book this, also book Bellwether. They’ve done such a great job with Bellwether it’s first 2 years.
I'm pretty sure it's not the same people. Bill Donabedian founded both, but he sold Bunbury to PromoWest Production out of Columbus years ago. Promowest seems to run a nice operation for their local shows, but goddamn do they seem clueless when it comes to curating a good festival.

I don’t know if it’s a budget issue or they don’t know how to make a good lineup, but my lord. One of us could probably do a better job.
Does this sell well? Not even trash talking, genuinely wondering. Because there could just be enough people in Cincinnati who like this and reinforce them booking lineups like this
