I plan on setting up our two tents behind our car. Then taking bungee cords to secure a tarp from the top of the car (Suburban) over the tents and then secured to two stakes in the ground. I was thinking about the rain, and a way to allow for drainage, so i thought of putting PVC pole in the middle of the tarp. But do you think the sloping of the tarp already will allow for good drainage?
I plan on doing a dry run tomorrow, but just seeing if anyone thinks my plan is logical
The sloping of the tarp should already provide good drainage but I would take the PVC pipe in case you want some additional head space underneath... Good idea!
