Folks,
Any idea whether glass bottles of beer can be brought into the camping area? I would hate to show up with a big cooler full of Sierra Nevada's just to be turned away!
Technically glass is not allowed. Last year I didn't hear of anyone having a problem bringing any in (just don't have it out in the open when you drive in). There wasn't even a mention of no glass in the pack that came w/ the tix this year, just one line in the info pdf on the 'roo website so I doubt its a major concern for them. Just don't go smashing bottles for laughs and everything should be ok.
I was fine with a couple sixers of random bottled beer stashed near the bottom of my coolers last year. Granted, it was buried under enough ice and canned beer that no gate inspector in their right mind would bother digging. That said, I watched the vehicle one line over get a few 12 packs of Bud Light removed and confiscated. So yeah, bury it well and it shouldn't be a problem.
