We're looking some brilliant ideas for some photographs at Bonnaroo this year. We got some nice stuff last year www.larrysafko.com but if anyone has any ideas for some spectacular photos, please let me know. We are shooting for several publication so will be trying to cover the venue from one end to another (I wore out a pair of shoes last year) Thanks
Pictures that blur are really good, i.e., chicks spinning to the music, guys bongo-ing, etc.. I'm looking forward to photographing the sonic forrest at night. Says there are lights to go with it.
1) Pictures of the wares, buyers and sellers on the many Shakedown Streets. 2) Amazing Campsites 3) After the show - look what THEY left behind. 4) Always a market for crowd shots. Good collection from the last two years. Be looking forward to this year's as well.
I too am a photographer, but not a professional one. I've only sold a few prints here and there and as such they won't let me bring in my camera to Bonnaroo so I have to live vicariously through others (plus film is expensive). I would say to shoot some low-angle shots to get a dramatic skyscape in the back. Especially if you've got some good filters and/or black and whilte film. Also tight shots of facial expressions are pretty cool (sort of captures that human nature thing).
