I'd love if somebody could post like a piece of classical music a week we could listen to together (separately, but together). I'd love to hear people point out what they love about certain pieces of music.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
UPCOMING SHOWS 5/14 - Neil Young & Crazy Horse @ Forest Hills 6/8 and maybe 6/9 - Governors Ball 8/17 - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard @ Forest Hills 9/4 - Pearl Jam @ MSG 9/7 - Pearl Jam @ Wells Fargo Center 9/11 - St. Vincent @ Brooklyn Paramount

Just fell into a weird YouTube hole of "blank but it made me fail music theory" meme videos, there's some really fun stuff in there
lol sounds like the a Oneohtrix Point Never record.
itrainmonkeys turned me on to this, have you ever listened to H. Jon Benjamin's "Jazz Daredevil" record? it's jazz piano but he has no musical training and does not know how to play piano. the other musicians are real musicians though.

the sax player in my band is also in a jazz band and they did a whole Erik satie set back in april. rearranged all the gnossienne and gymnopedie piano pieces for full jazz band. great mix of free jazz and psych but rooted in the basic motifs from the piano compositions.
