Alright so being the first time 'Rooer that I am I have diligently read all the info about arriving but I haven't seen anything about leaving. I am a little concerned since people park where they camp that people wont be able to leave until a significant amount of people pack up and leave. So how does it work? Is there enough room to drive without running over someones tent if you want to leave early? What were your experiences? How long did it take you to get onto the Interstate?
Thanks guys and I hardly know how I am going to be able to wait till June for this.

This will be my 3rd roo trip and the first two times we've left early and had no problem getting out. (we did wait til sunday afternoon though, don't know how early you were wanting to leave.) Typically ppl are leaving throughout the weekend, so by sunday you can get out pretty easy, at least in my opinion. it only took us about 30-45 mins to get to the highway and that was b/c we weren't sure which way was the best way to get out (either time lol).
We left early Sunday in '04. We actually wouldn't have because there really wasn't a way out, but some people farther in than us were also trying to get out. They asked some of the people between us and the road to move their tents, so we followed them out. People were pretty nice about helping us out, but this year, we plan to stay until late Sunday or early Monday.
When is the last show on Sunday. This is my first roo and I plan to stay till Monday morning, but that was because I figured I would still be jamming on Sunday night.
The last show Sunday is a headlining spot. I've found that every year (I've been 3 times) I plan to hit up the last show but I'm always so tired that I just don't care who's playing and I end up sleeping or leaving. In '03 I fell asleep at camp just as I could hear the Dead start playing. We woke up at 5:30 am Monday and rolled out to the interstate with no waiting at all. In '04 Trey decided to bore us all with an orchestra set before ripping with his band. By the time TAB came out I was too beat to care and just went back to camp and packed up and left during the show with no wait at all. Last year I left before it was even dark on Sunday and left with no problems. It really depends on where your parked and how many people you need to ask to move stuff if your gonna leave.
